Earnest Richardson, Sr.:
A native of Wheelerville and a resident of Grand Bay, AL died at his residence on Thursday, November 18, 1999. He was a charter member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a member of VFW Post #49. He is survived by his children, Ernest (Linda) Richardson, Jr. of Grand Bay, Lawrence (Brenda) Richardson of Grand Bay, Carol Richardson of Mobile, Cheryl (James) Elliott of Atlanta and Erna Elder of Mobile; brothers, Harold Richardson of Mobile and Gordon Richardson of Cleveland, OH; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 11 a.m. from Corpus Christi Catholic Church with interment in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will Friday, November 19, 1999 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Funeral arrangements were by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.

Martha Lou Davis Smith:
Long time resident of Mobile, died November 17, of a heart attack. Martha Smith was a Christian, a faithful member of Hollinger's Island Baptist Church for many years and of Semmes First Baptist the past year. Martha Smith was a homemaker, writer, accomplished pianist, Sunday School teacher, and worked for many years as counselor to troubled youth through the Christian Home Service Board. She leaves her loving husband of 63 years, E. Howard Smith, Semmes, AL; son, Howard L. (Linda M.) Smith, Semmes, AL; daughter, Martha Ann (Dr. Phillip C.) Posey, Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Teresa Posey Miller, Kansas City, Scott Posey, San Francisco, Dawn Posey, Cincinnati, John E. Smith, Fayetteville, NC, Dan Bush, Ruston, LA, Howard Leland Smith, Marietta, GA, Marshall D. Smith, and Dorothy Jean Ellen Smith, Semmes, AL, as well as great grandchildren, Claire Elizabeth Miller and Otis E. Miller, III, Kansas City. A Praise - Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 26 at the Hollinger's Island Baptist Church with Rev. James Mercer officiating. Carl Jerome Able Jr.
Carl Jerome Able Jr., a student at Craighead Elementary School, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 7.
He is survived by his parents, Carl J. Able and Gail D. Able of Mobile; a brother; five sisters; grandparents; and great-grandparents.
Arrangements will be provided by Hodges Chapel in Mobile.

Verta Viola Clarke
Verta Viola Clarke, a Seaboard native and Citronelle resident, died Friday at a local hospital. She was 82.
Mrs. Clarke, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, attended Citronelle United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Elmer Clarke of Biloxi, J.D. Clarke of Asheville, N. C., Kenneth Clarke of Citronelle and Dan Clarke of McIntosh; a brother, George Richardson of Aiken, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Seaboard.

Dora W. Davis
Dora W. Davis, a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, died Thursday at a local hospital. She was 95.
Mrs. Davis was a Loango native and a Mobile resident.
She is survived by a nephew, Willie Johnson of Andalusia; a great niece, Sandra Johnson of Montgomery; and five cousins.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Casher Cemetery. Arrangements are by Christian Benevolent Funeral Home in Mobile.

Robert Earl Little Sr.
Robert Earl Little Sr., a resident of Theodore, died Friday. He was 64.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Little; three sons, Robert Little Jr., Joseph Little and Kenneth Little; two daughters, Ann Hall and Brenda Whitehurst; a brother, Cecil Little; a sister, Pauline Jones; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Serenity Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

DeWillis M.A. Young
DeWillis Marchello Alphonzo Young, a Milwaukee, Wis., native and Semmes resident, died Wednesday in a car accident. He was 18.
Young, a senior at Mary G. Montgomery High School, was a member of the high school basketball team.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Blevins; his father, Alphonzo Charles Young; three brothers, Terry Lee Robbins Jr., Terrell Overton and Jarvis Braggs; a sister, LaDestiny Payton; and grandparents, Richard and Mattie Walker, Lillie Blevins, William Duncan and Odie Young.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morelight Tabernacle of Prayer Church in Prichard. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Grove Baptist Church in Bluff City, Ark. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. Memorials and donations may be made to any Regions Bank in the name of DeWillis "Chello" Young. Arrangements are by Reese Funeral Home.
