Mrs. Reccie D. Long:
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jeff Spiller and Rev. Fred Wilson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Phillip Peterson, Johnny Wink, Glenn Smith, Daniel Long, Harold Doyle, Charles Doyle, Ernie Miller.
Active pallbearers were, Andy Long, Donnie Long, Chad Long, David Long, Bobby Young, Bobby Mooring. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Funeral arrangements are by MOBILE MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619.

Barry O'Neal McCorvey:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on Saturday, November 20, 1999.
He was a 1987 graduate of B.C. Raine High School and an outstanding athlete during his high school years.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Fannie McCorvey, one aunt, Vernise McCorvey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving daughter, Brittney McCorvey of Mobile; two precious sons, LaBarron and LaDarron Lewis of Phoenix, AZ; loving parents, Volentina and Arthur L. William, Sr. of Mobile; two brothers, Arthur L. Williams, Jr, and Anthony Molette; one sister, Roshandra Williams, all of Mobile; three aunts, Victoria (James) White of Columbus, OH, Jacqueline (Augustus) Warrick and Debra (Dale) Moulds of Mobile; three uncles, Joseph, Jr., Patrick (Darlene), both of Houston, TX, William (Jamie) of Columbus, OH; a devoted cousin, Terrell (Karla) of Mobile; four great aunts, Willie Morris of Pensacola, FL, Mary Ethel Crenshaw San Francisco, CA, Frenz ell Irvin and Leola Irvin of Akron, OH; six great uncles, Woodrow (Dorothy) of Atmore, AL, Edward (Peacho) Pensacola, Rufus of Cleveland, OH, Raymond (Clara) and Quincy Marshall, both of Moss Point, MS, and Benjamin Marshall of Yuma, AZ; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at the Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church, Theodore, AL on Friday, November 26, 1999 from 10am until the 11am funeral hour, Rev. Howard Nelson, Pastor and Officiating Minister.
Interment will follow in the Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Funeral arrangements are by REESE FUNERAL HOME, 925 Bessemer Ave, Prichard, AL 36610.

Mrs. Cecilia Maria Coleman McCorvey:
A beautiful and young life ended when Cecilia Maria McCorvey was called to rest on Friday, November 19, 1999.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL and was born on February 14, 1971.
She was a 1990 graduate of Ben C. Rain High School, Century 21 and Southeast Technical College all in Mobile, AL.
She was preceded in death by David Coleman, Sr.
She leaves to cherish, loving and devoted mother, Vera Coleman; one child, Brittany Coleman McCorvey (Alexis); three brothers, Vernon (Cynthia) Brown, David Coleman and Daniel Coleman; eight sisters, Doris Brown, Gloria (Martinez) Herron, Edith (James) Eaton, Adriane (John) Sampson, Magdalen (Ledyard) Sampson, Cheryl (Edward) Purdue, Erica Black, Davener (Ashley) Coleman; devoted grandparents, Ada (Elijah) Brown, Theresa Coleman; one devoted aunt, Mary Brown; two devoted uncles, Porter Gunn and Elijah Brown; two devoted friends, Jeannie Smith and Roderick Williams; 17 nieces, Valena, Valencia, Kenyetta, Shauna (Dynell), Carletta (Jessica), Sharletta, Aladrine, Toccara, David, Crystal, Shateria, Alicia, Teanisha, Alissa, Shalexis; seven nephews, Jake, John, James, Therantylis, Anthony, David, Dorian; a host of aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Friday, November 26, 1999 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. funeral hour with Rev. James Murphy officiating.
Interment will be in the Whispering Pines Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to HODGES FUNERAL CHAPEL, 701 Dr. M. L. King Ave, Mobile, AL 36603

Mrs. Bessie Waldon McDade:
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 23, 1999 at 12 noon.
Officiating was Rev. Paul Montalvo. Honorary Pallbearers were, Bob Draughon, Doyle Stewart, John Dees, Alton Pierce, Charles Logan, Ty Irby and Frank Mosley.
Active Pallbearers were, Keni Herren, Ken Herren, Greg Logan, Tracy Logan, Kenneth Driskell, Tony Dees and Everett Driskell.
Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

Lemoil Myles:
Departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 1999. Funeral arrangements to be announced. Services of love entrusted to Azalea Funeral Home, 352 State Street, Mobile, AL 36603 .

Ricky and Kelvin Nettles:
Passed this life on Thursday, November 11, 1999 in Los Angeles, CA. Services will be held Friday, November 26, 1999 from the Lang's Chapel Church, McIntosh from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral hour, Rev. David Richardson, Pastor, Prophetess Patsy Moultrie officiating. Interment will follow in the Vaughn Cemetery.
Sympathetic and professional services are by MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 1302 Viaduct Street, Prichard, AL 36610.

NETTLES, SR., Mr. Willie Roy Nettles, Sr.:
A native of Mobile, AL and a Vietnam Veteran departed this life on Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at a local hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Rosie Nettles; one loving son, Willie (Traci) Nettles, Jr.; future grandchild; three sisters and three brothers, Clara Owens, Hester Smith of Mobile, Delores Sellers of Detroit, MI, Gentle Nettles, Jr., Jack Nettles of Mobile, and Roosevelt Nettles or Phoenix, AZ; five sisters-in-law, Jacqueline F. Nettles of Mobile, Maureen Nettles, Phoenix, AZ, Ceola (Allen) Williams of North Carolina, Lelia Lucious, Annie (Willie) Jackson of Mobile; two brothers-in-law, Paul (Lois) Bradley of Atlanta, GA and George (Nina) Bradley of Clarkesville, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, 1999 at Hodges Chapel from 5 until 9 p.m. with funeral services on Saturday, November 27, 1999 from the chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Lorenzo Bennett officiating. Interment in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to HODGES FUNERAL CHAPEL, 701 Dr. M. L. King Ave, Mobile, AL 36603

Mr. Clifton (Spanish) Reid:
A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Prichard, AL, born September 10, 1924 departed this life at a local hospital on November 19, 1999.
He accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. J. W. McDaniel, Sr.
He served as a faithful member and trustee until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reid of Mobile, AL, and his sisters, Loretha Martin and Odel White.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife for over 51 years, Selma Reid, Prichard, AL; one son, Arthur Patterson, Prichard, AL; sisters, Charletta Sellers, Mobile, AL and Earnestine (Elder Caesar) Conico, Prichard, AL; three sisters-in-law, Irene Robinson, Prichard, AL, Carrie Turner, Millry, AL and Mary Turner, Prichard, AL; godson, Lewis James, Jr., devoted nephew, Deacon James Leverett, devoted niece, Bettie Rembert, devoted cousin, Robert Williams, devoted friend, David Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His remains will lie in state at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, Friday, November 26, 1999 from 12 noon until 5 p.m. and after 9 a.m. at Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 354 Highlands Ave.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at which time Rev. Charles Bradley, Pastor will conduct the funeral service. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by CHRISTIAN BENEVOLENT FUNERAL HOME, 201 N Hamilton St, Mobile, AL 36603.

Mrs. Ruth Zirlott "Granny" Shores:
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street on Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. Officiated by Brother Glenn Cooper, Rev. Jimmy Moore, and Rev. Jim Allison. Pallbearers were Bryant Catron, Mikey Catron, Michael West, Jessie Bosarge, John Frank Johnson, and Chris Hester. Interment was in the Grand Bay Cemetery, Grand Bay, AL. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL.
