Alabama, U.S., County Marriage Records, 1805-1967 - 1814-1935

Mr. Gifford Frison:
A native and a lifelong resident of Mobile, passed Saturday, November 20, 1999 at a local hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Mary Frison; one son, Gifford Frison, Jr.; devoted niece, Felica Perkins; four sisters, four brothers, three uncles, one aunt and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 1999 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour, from the Ebernezer Baptist Church in Cottage Hill with Rev. Rudolph Overstreet officiating. Interment in the Ebernezer Cemetery. Sympathetic and professional services are by MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 1302 Viaduct St, Prichard, AL.

Mrs. Margaret Stewart Hanks:
Age 80, a native and lifelong native of Mobile, died on Friday, November 26, 1999 at a local nursing facility. She is survived by one son, James D. Hanks, Mobile; one daughter, Margaret H. Jones, Mobile; one brother, George David Stewart, Magnolia Springs, AL; six grandchildren, Nancy Jones Bingham, Stephanie Jones Upshaw, Angela Jones Jordan, all of Mobile, Jamie Hanks, California, David Hanks, Michael Hanks, both of Mobile; eleven great grandchildren. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, November 27, 1999 in Magnolia Cemetery at 12 noon. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Hazle Collins Ivison:
A native of Floyd County, GA and a lifelong resident of Mobile died Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at a local health care facility. She was a former member of the Eastern Star, a member of U.D.C.-Electra Semmes Colson Division, an Episcopalian and a local genealogist. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Ivison and is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Jean (Edwin L.) Moffett of Mobile; a grandson, Leon R. (Terri) Moffett and numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 27, 1999 at 10:00 A.M. with interment in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Mary Margaret Lovelace Risor:
A lifelong resident of Mobile County died Wednesday, November 24, 1999. Funeral services will be held today at 10AM from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with interment in Oddfellow Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd. Mobile, AL.

Mr. Carl Harold Robinson:
A native of Canoe, AL and a resident of Mobile died on Friday, November 26, 1999 at the family residence. Mr. Robinson was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member of Sage Avenue Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Mobile Seed and Supply since 1952. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lee Robinson of Mobile; five daughters, Dorothy Cole, Ann (Felton) Mitchell, Carolyn (Larry) Ezell, Rosalind (Greg) Foster and Sallie (Charlie) Perkins, all of Mobile; one step-daughter, Jean Arndt of Fairborn, OH; six granddaughters, Margie, Natalie, Angela, Monica, Shellie and Amy; nephews, Jimmy and Chester Harden; and other relatives. Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Sunday, November 28, 1999 from 5-8PM. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, November 29, 1999 at 10AM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sage Avenue Baptist Church Foundation Fund. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Laura Gray Hamilton Stewart:
Died November 22, 1999 after a lengthy illness. She was a native Mobilian and was preceded by her parents, Jessie and Jennie Hamilton, her sisters, Jennie Marty and Annie Mary Hamilton, her son, Edward Martin Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Rear Admiral William Hart Stewart, USCG (Ret.); a daughter, Karla Bohn (Ronnie) of Lakewood, WA; daughter-in-law, Karen Yee (Al) of Winchester, VA; four grandsons, William Hart Wilson of Key West, FL, James Bohn, Robert Bohn, and David Bohn, all of Lakewood, WA; and many friends. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday, November 29, 1999 at Radney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30, at Christ Church at 10 AM, followed by graveside services at Magnolia Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Edward Martin Wilson Memorial Fund at Christ Church or to the Dauphin Island Foundation, P.O. Box 945, Dauphin Island, AL. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL.

Mr. Marston Robert Zimmershed:
A native of Chickasaw, AL and resident of Chunchula, AL died on Tuesday, November 23, 1999 in a local hospital at the age of 40. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Zimmershed and Deborah (Jim) Beck; wife, Susan H. Zimmershed; father, Charles Robert Zimmershed; niece, Jennifer Till; nephews, Patrick Beck, Tray Till III, Eric Beck. Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Friday, November 26, 1999 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27, 1999 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Prkwy, Saraland, AL.

Mrs. Georgia Mae Edmondson:
Age 84, homemaker, a devoted wife and mother and loving friends has gone home to her Father and our lives will never be the same again, died Friday, November 26, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin E. Edmondson. She is survived by her daughters, Sue Edmondson and David Gregory of Montgomery, AL; Linda (George) Beal of Rainbow City, AL and Kathy (Truett) Moseley of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; three grandsons, Kenneth and Robbie Moseley and George Beal, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Lauren, Lyndsay, Jacob, Sonni, Nikita, Herbie and Christopher; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, November 29, 1999 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Leak-Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at 10 A.M. from the chapel of Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Greg Belser and Rev. Jim McFarland officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at 2 P.M. at Daphne Baptist Cemetery, Daphne, AL. Honorary pallbearers will be George Beal, Sr., Robby Moseley, Charles Jones, Ferry Hunter, Neal Kelly, Ron Burke, Ed Griffin, Morris Burkett, Norbert Thompson, Faith Etheridge, Margaret Black and Racile Casy. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Moseley, George Beal, Jr., Truett Moseley, David Gregory, Johnny Johnson and Thomas Odom. Arrangements by LEAK-MEMORY CHAPEL, Montgomery, AL.
