Mr. James Vincent McNamara, Sr.:
A native of Jersey City, NJ and a resident of Mobile, AL since 1939, died Sunday, November 28, 1999 in a local health care facility. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Janice McNamara. He is survived by one son, James V. McNamara, Jr., Mobile; two daughters, Teecie Kynes Cozad, Little Falls, NJ, and Jane English, Mobile; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson and Veronica Tillman, both of Mobile; one great-grandchild, Alexandria Tillman. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the ALS Foundation in memory of his loving wife, Janice McNamara. Mr. Julius Miller:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died at his residence on Thursday, November 25, 1999. He was a retired employee for the city of Mobile. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Lee Miller, Daniel Miller and James Miller; a devoted friend, Catherine H. Watts, all of Mobile; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Christine Moorer-Malone:
Was born August 5, 1940 to Mr. Leroy Gradford and the late Mrs. Bessie Reed, departed this life at her home on Saturday, November 27, 1999. She will be sadly missed by a devoted husband, Johnnie Malone, her children, Jessie (Katherine) Moorer, Sharon Jackson, Edward (Cheryl) Moorer, Carl (Princess) Moorer; a brother, sisters, aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends. Mary Francis Stimpson Shackleford:
Died Thursday, November 30 at a local hospital. A native of Mobile, Alabama, she was a former resident of Jackson, Alabama. Survivors include one son, Robert Mitchell Shackleford, III of Mobile, Alabama, and two daughters, Katherine Shackleford Bailey of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Christine Shackleford Rogers of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by two brothers, William H. Stimpson and Ben C. Stimpson, Sr., both of Mobile, Alabama, and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be at 11:00am, Thursday, December 2 at St. Paul's Episcopal Parish Hall with services following at 12 noon in St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
