Phoebe Lee Hartley
Phoebe Lee Hartley, who worked in the accounting department at Big 10 Tires, died Monday at a local hospital. She was 35.
Miss Hartley, who was a native of Alabama, resided in Mobile. She was a member of Millry Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Margaret A. and Harold Hartley of Millry; a brother, Hal Hartley of Nashville, Tenn; a sister, Nita Hartley Hannie of Baton Rouge, La.; and her grandmother, Erma Hartley of Copeland, Ala.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Millry Baptist Church, with burial at Kimbrough Memorial Cemetery.
Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom, Ala., is handling arrangements.

Archie Ray White
WILMER - Archie Ray White, who retired from Massillon Steel Casting after more than 25 years, died Sunday at a local hospital.
White, 71, was a native of Spencer, W.Va. He resided in Wilmer.
Survivors include three daughters, Genevieve Westmoreland and Margaret Scranton, both of Wilmer, and Martha Lehmiller of Conneautville, Pa.; a stepson, Terry Shaw of Mobile; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. today at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home in Semmes is handling arrangements.

Robert Marshall
SHALIMAR, Fla. - Robert "Bobby" Marshall, owner of S & M General Contractors, died Monday in a traffic accident. He was 54.
A native of Mobile, Marshall resided in Shalimar. He had lived in the Fort Walton Beach area of the Florida Panhandle since 1970.
He was a member of the Home Builders Association in Fort Walton Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Liz Marshall of Shalimar; a son, Steve Marshall of Atlanta; two brothers, Charles K. Marshall Jr. of Freeport, Fla., and William E. Marshall of Germany; and two sisters, Carolyn Goff and Barbara Holmes, both of Mobile.
Visitation and a memorial service will take place Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Rood N.E. in Fort Walton Beach.

Sherri Lynn Nordan
SOSO, Miss. - Sherri Lynn Nordan, a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Butler, Ala., died Tuesday at a hospital in Laurel, Miss.
Survivors include her parents, Jerre and James E. "Sonny" Nordan of Butler; a son, Allan Craig Henson of Laurel; a daughter, Brandi Nichole Henson of Lavaca, Ala.; three sisters, Robin Ann Hendley of Butler, Teresa Gaye Johnson of Barrytown, Ala., and Tammy Kaye Ainsworth of Laurel; her paternal grandmother, Bert Clark of Gilbertown, Ala., ; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Phillips Funeral Home in Gilbertown. Services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Gilbertown Cemetery.

Vincent Woods Jr.
WALNUT HILL, Fla. - Vincent "Rusty" Woods Jr., who worked as a physician's assistant, died Monday in Pensacola.
Woods, 40, was a native of West Palm Beach, Fla. He resided in Walnut Hill. He was a member and a deacon at Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie Woods of Walnut Hill, and his sister, Janet Gerber of Virginia.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, Ala. Services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Walnut Hill Baptist Church, with burial at Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery.

Lorraine B. Morris
Lorraine B. Morris, a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, died Monday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Morris was a native of Canada and a resident of Mobile.
Survivors include seven nieces, Janet Williams of Mobile, Patsy Bowen of Belhaven, N.C., Bibianna Weide of Mill Creek, Wash., Leola Pope of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Frances Williams of Bessemer, Ala., Anne Woods of Pensacola and Mary Frances Hale of Germantown, Tenn.; and five nephews, Albert B. Hunter of Mobile, T.S. Hunter of Azle, Texas, George Dick, John Dick and Herbert Dick, all of Bessemer, and Glenn Brackin of Columbia, S.C.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. today in Pine Crest Cemetery with Radney Funeral Home directing.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Viola Thelma Russell
Viola Thelma "Mama Vi" Russell, who was inducted into the Alabama State Senior Citizens Hall of Fame in 1998, died Monday at her home at the age of 103.
Mrs. Russell, a native of Mobile County, was a lifelong resident of Mobile and Whistler.
She was the oldest member of St. Louis Street Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a teacher of the Viola T. Russell Women Bible Class, chairwoman of the deaconess board and a member of the Queen/Lily Missionary Circle.
Other affiliations included the Sunlight District Women's convention, chorus and matrons division, where she served as a former president. She was also involved with Catholic Social Services, the National Council of Negro Women and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 426.
Survivors include her niece, Eunice Davis of Mobile; her grandniece Andrea Davis of Mobile; her grandnephew, Oliver Davis Jr. of Mobile; her granddaughter, Barbara Waiters of Hedgeville, W. Va.; and a number of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Viewing also will be after 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Street Missionary Baptist Church, 108 N. Dearborn St., with visitation at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Whistler Cemetery
