Anita Ayler "Nita" McCants, a native and lifelong resident of Whistler, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was 51.
Survivors include her father, Albert Ayler of Whistler; two brothers, Larry Ayler of Mobile and Berry Ayler of Tacoma, Wash.; and one sister, Diane Mose of Mobile.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Services will be at noon Wednesday, with burial in Whistler Cemetery.

Willie Jackson
Willie Jackson, 70, a member of the Board of Deacons at Friendship Baptist Church, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 41.
Mr. Stuckey was employed with Southern Aluminum.
He is survived by his fiancee' Angie Harville of Bay Minette; two sons, Anthony Michael Stuckey and Jeffrey Shawn Stuckey, both of Bay Minette; a daughter, Kimberly Michelle Stuckey of Bay Minette; his parents, Julius and Carol Stuckey of Bay Minette; a brother Julius E. Stuckey Jr.; and a sister, Linda Stuckey Walker of Atlanta.
Graveside services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery. Arrangements by Norris Funeral Home.

ROBERTA ETTE NORWOOD
GULF SHORES - Roberta Ette Norwood, a Gulf Shores native and resident, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 at a local hospital. She was 92.
Mrs. Norwood, a member of Lagoon Baptist Church, is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Services will begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Miller Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Lagoon Baptist Church, Fort Morgan Road in Gulf Shores, in memory of Mrs. Norwood.

Ethel M. Dailey
Ethel Mae Dailey, a parishioner at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, died Sunday at a local health care facility.
Mrs. Dailey, 72, resided in Mobile. She a native of Repton.
Survivors include her son, Walter Dailey of Compton, Calif.; her brother, A.C. Mosley of Mobile; four sisters, Ruby Smith of Detroit, Sarah Hooks of Paris, Calif., Lula Bell Jones of New York City, and Arline Mosley of Mobile; and four granddaughters.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. A second viewing will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian burial begins at noon. Burial will be at Whispering Pines Cemetery.

Milton R. Huffman
Milton R. Huffman, a retiree of Scott Paper Co. after 35 years, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
Huffman was a lifelong resident of Mobile.
Survivors include three brothers, Ralph Huffman, Roland Huffman and Joel Huffman; and his sister, Roberta Rials Collop, all of Grand Bay; and his longtime companion, Wayne Ray of Mobile.
Services are set for 10 a.m. today at Serenity Funeral Home, with burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Irene E. Manzanilla
Irene Escasena Manzanilla, a parishioner at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, died Nov. 20 in Miami.
Mrs. Manzanilla, a native of Havana, Cuba, resided in Mobile for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Justo Manzanilla II; four sons, Jose Justo Manzanilla III of Miami, Carlos Mario Manzanilla, Jorge Manzanilla and Bernardo "Benny" Manzanilla, all of Mobile; two daughters, Irene Mathilde Manzanilla of Miami and Elena Maria Manzanilla Johnson of Mobile; a sister, Isabel Escasena of Miami; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Resurrection Mass is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Family and friends will gather at Mrs. Manzanilla's residence immediately after the Mass.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Willie Ray Odom
Willie Ray Odom, a retiree of Eagle Security, died Wednesday at a local hospice. He was 63.
Odom, a Mississippi native, resided in Mobile. He was a veteran of the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Vermell Lambert Odom of Mobile; three sons, Herman Lambert of Slidell, La., Joey Odom and Brad Odom, both of Mobile; three daughters, Annette Morris of Mobile, Marie Calders of Saraland and Judy Redfern of Waynesboro, Miss.; two brothers, Clarence Odom of Columbia, Miss., and James Odom of Gulfcrest, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Gilmer's Funeral Service on Zeigler Boulevard, where services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Valhalla Cemetery in Lott, Ala.
