Chelsea Renee Knotts, a newborn, died Tuesday at local hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Barney and Melissa Knotts; her grandparents, James and Deborah Wiggins, and Beverly Knotts; and her great-grandparents, Nathan and Flo Evans, and Ray and Arlene Driggers, all of Mobile.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 11 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Harry C. McGehee Sr.
Harry C. McGehee Sr., a member of the Mobile County Sheriff's Posse, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
McGehee was a lifelong Mobilian.
Survivors include a son, Danny McGehee of Pensacola; a daughter, Judy Hager of Mobile; a sister, Helen Chreko of Lillian; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at noon Friday at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Gladys B. Norton
Gladys B. Norton, a native of Pike County, Ala., and resident of Mobile, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
She is survived by three children, John W. Norton of Cullman, Jerry B. Norton of Mobile and Gary Norton of Eufaula; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Radney Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Phenix City, Ala.

Wavie E. Orsburn
Wavie Esther Orsburn, a retired cabinet maker, died Monday in a local hospital. She was 83.
Mrs. Orsburn, a native of West Virginia, was a resident of Wilmer.
Survivors include three sons, Jim Rose of Ohio, Harry Orsburn of Mobile and George Orsburn of Panama City, Fla.; a daughter, Patricia Caldwell of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Cleo Lacefield and Bonnie Walker of Akron, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Samuel E. Sewer
The Rev. Samuel Emmanuel Sewer, a retiree of Ingalls Shipbuilding Co. in Pascagoula, died Friday at the age of 68.
Sewer was a native of Grand Bay and a resident of Mobile. He was a member of El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel H. Sewer; five sons, Burnell Sewer, Samuel Sewer Jr., Forntain Sewer, Marlon Sewer and Anthony Sewer; two daughters, Cynthia Akins and Glenda Sewer; three brothers, Egbert Sewer, Alfredo Sewer and the Rev. Roosevelt Sewer; four sisters, Charlotte Logan, Angelina Pope, Sudie B. Bridges and Geraldine Taylor; and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday at El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Grand Bay.
Arrangements are by Hodge's Funeral Chapel.

Dolores L. Standley
Dolores L. Standley, who had worked as a private-duty licensed practical nurse, died Monday at a local hospital. She was 69.
Mrs. Standley was a native of Rochester, N.Y., and resident of Mobile for the past 51 years.
Survivors include a son, Mike Knowles of Mobile; a daughter, Vikki Ponder of Mobile; a sister, Judy Lang of Gulf Shores; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at noon today at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Cheryl N. Dennis
MONTGOMERY - Cheryl Nita Dennis, a native and resident of Montgomery and a former resident of Fairford, Ala., died Tuesday in Indiana. She was 40.
Survivors include seven brothers, Curtis Dennis of Nashville, Tenn., Therman Dennis, Alvin Dennis, Raynord Dennis, all of Montgomery, Harold Dennis of Atlanta, Autry Dennis Jr. and Damon Dennis of Saginaw, Mich.; and five sisters, Pamla Tilghman of Montgomery, Ericka Dennis of Washington, D.C., Beverly Dennis, Monique Owens and Hope Dennis, all of Saginaw.
Viewing will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Chastang, Ala., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairford.
Arrangements are by Christian Benevolent Funeral Home.
