He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving wife, Carrie Brown, Beswick; one daughter, Eileen Patricia Beswick; one brother, Vassel Beswick of Amityville, NY; one sister-in-law, Lillian Johnson; four daughters, Margaret Randolph, Doris Rogers, Sammie Clemons all of Mobile, AL and Teresa Angle of Buffalo, NY; six sons, Hezekiah Brown of Williamsburg, VA, Tommie Brown of Brentwood, NY, Cozy (Paula) Brown, Johnnie Brown (Patricia), and Nathaniel Brown of Mobile, AL; 51 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, December 11, 1999 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral hour with the minister to be announced. She was a nursing student at Pearl River Community College, EMT- previously employed by AAA Ambulance Service, a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 9, 1999 at 10:00 A.M. from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sumerlin officiating. Mrs. Lottie Martha Trehern Jackson:
A native of Vancleave, MS, and a resident of Mobile County since childhood, died at the family residence, Wednesday, December 8, 1999 following a lengthy illness, at the age of 87. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Brack Edward Jackson of Saraland; Tressa (Alfredo) Miller of Theodore; three sons, Joe (Gena') Jackson of Semmes, Gene (Mary) Jackson of Seven Hills, and Donald (Liz) Jackson of Saraland; one sister, Amelia Deakle of Mobile; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 1999 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 1999 at 1:00 PM from Providence Church of God. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 Noon at the church. Interment will be Pine Crest Cemetery.
