Jean P. Wilson:
A native of Oklahoma and a resident of Theodore, died Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at a local hospital. She is survived by many friends, relatives, and her best friend, Tinkerbell, her dog. She will be missed by all. Funeral arrangements by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Mobile, AL.

John William Chrestman:
Age 64, a native of Tunica, MS, and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Friday, December 10, 1999, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Norma Chrestman of Daphne, Daughter, Barinda Elliot of Daphne, Son, Brian Chrestman of Daphne, Grandson, Hayden Chrestman, Aunt, Joyce Savage of Daphne, 1 nephew and 2 nieces. Funeral services and interment will be held, from the graveside, Saturday, December 11, 1999, in Daphne Baptist Cemetery, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Grant Barber officiating. Arrangements by WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 28720 U.S. HWY 98, DAPHNE, AL.

Mr. Woodrow Wilson Davis:
age 88. a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died on Thursday, December 9, 1999 at a local health facility. Mr. Davis was an employee of Courtalds for many years, a member of Central Assembly of God Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Minnie Eloise Davis. He is survived by 2 sons; Robert Milo (Barbara Joan) Davis of Mobile, AL, William G. (Linda) Davis of Mobile, AL; 1 Sister; Nellie Shaw of Opelika, AL; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 DAUPHIN ST. MOBILE, AL.

Mrs. Ethel Dees Starr:
Born July 19, 1912, a native of Atmore, AL and a longtime resident of Fairhope, AL died Friday, December 10, 1999 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo W. Starr and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Dees. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Peyton M. Walker of Fairhope and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Starr will be held Monday, December 13, 1999 at 10:00 AM at Fairhope Funeral Home in Fairhope. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL. A visitation will be held Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Fairhope Funeral Home. Arrangements by FAIRHOPE FUNERAL HOME, 19698 Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.

Mr. Bobbie Gene Gilmore, Sr.:
Funeral services were held from the Independent Church of God, Bayou La Batre on Friday, December 10, 1999 at 2PM. Officiated by Rev. Ronald Smith, and Rev. Edward Bosarge. Eulogy was given by Mickey Nelson. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Bosarge, Sr., Randy Havard, Sr., Mickey Nelson, Harold Garrett, Charles Garrett, Earl Gilmore, Ike Gilmore, Bill Farrow, Ronnie Bosarge, Jerry Bently, Louie Barber, Butch Smith, Dewey Gunnin, Johnny Thompson, Clarence Thompson, Jr., Tex Swank, Glen (Pookie) Bradley, Frank (Bootie) Cumbie, Leon Collier, Reed Collier, and Michael Clark. Active pallbearers were Elton Sullivan, Jerry Goleman, David Nelson, Ed Thompson, Chuck Peyregne, and Lynn Houston. Interment was in Oddfellow Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by MOBILE MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619.

David H. "Goat" Griffin:
A native of Baldwin County and a resident of Mobile, AL. died Thursday, December 9, 1999 at his residence. A U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of WWII, a member of V.F.W. Post 49; a retired Firefighter for the City of Mobile. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edna H. Griffin; one son, David O. (Linda) Griffin of Gulf Breeze, FL; one daughter, Gwen Wade of Mobile, AL; one sister, Bobbie Jean Thompson of Bay Minette, AL.; three grandchildren, Monica Smith of Mobile, AL., Derek Keeney of Mobile, AL and Jenna Griffin of Gulf Breeze, FL.; one great grandchild, Dakota Smith of Mobile, AL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors being rendered by V.F.W. Post 49 Honor Guard. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula RD, Mobile, AL.

Helen Berniece (Hamilton) Myrick:
died in her home Wednesday, December 8, 1999. Funeral services were held Friday, December 10, 1999, from the Chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home, where Bryce Evans Officiated. Pallbearers were: Scott Ulrich, Matt Ulrich, Corey Hooks, Tim Schurr, and Stoney Weaver. Arrangements by WOLFE FUNERAL HOME 329 S. GREENO RD., FAIRHOPE, AL.

Mrs. Hazel Smith Sutton:
Age 98. A native and lifelong resident of the Mobile area, died on Friday, December 10, 1999 at a local nursing facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse H. Sutton, Sr., one son, Jesse H. Sutton, Jr., one sister, Genevieve Smith Joseph, five brothers, Walter Smith, Harry Smith, Clifford Smith, Raymond Smith, James Smith. She is survived by one son, Thomas H. (Dolly) Sutton of Mobile; one sister, Lillian Smith Busby of Fairhope; one daughter in law, Edwina Mary Sutton of Mobile; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, December 11, 1999 in Pine Crest Cemetery at 3:00 PM. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 762 Azalea Rd., Mobile. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 DAUPHIN ST. MOBILE, AL.
