Infant Daniel Scott Barnes, Jr.:
A native and lifelong resident of Semmes died Friday, December 10, 1999 in a local hospital. He is survived by his parents, Daniel Scott Barnes, Sr. and Olivia Dianne Gardner; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Betty Gardner; paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Barnes; great grandparents, Betty Dees, Inez Barnes and Bill Joiner; aunts and uncles, Steven and Robin Binkley, Forest and Sharon Acree, Robert and Angie Barnes, Susan Barnes, Brad and Sarah Corley, Nicole Croomes, Kelly Croomes, Rickey Joiner, Darrell Gardner, Jr. and Steven Gardner; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Graveside on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 1pm. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be Monday morning from 9am till 12 noon at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.

Mr. Charles O. Bodiford:
Age 57. A native of Mobile died Thursday, December 9, 1999 in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Glyde Bodiford, Sr. and Carrie Ann Thomas Bodiford; one brother, Robert (Bob) Bodiford, Jr.; one sister, Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Johnston. He is survived by one brother, Jim Bodiford, Mobile; sister, Juanita Parker, Perdido Beach, AL; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services and interment will be held Monday, December 13, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Estelle Brantley (Sister):
A native of Fort Deposit, Alabama, and a resident of Daphne, Alabama, departed this life on December 8, 1999. She was a life member of the Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. She was retired from Roussos Restaurant after many years of devoted service. She leaves to cherish her precious memories four daughters; Shirley Ifill of Mobile, Evelyn Brantley (Ray) of Mobile, Florence (Kenny) Barnes of Spanish Fort, AL, and Minister Geraldine (Ray) Daniels of College Park, Georgia; step son, Lebarron Wiley of Mobile; one sister, Ethel Jenkins of Mobile; one brother, Leon Myles of Prichard, Alabama; god child, Anita Jackson; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors Crockett Memorial AME Zion Church family, and many devoted friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 1999 at the Crockett Memorial AME Zion Church, 1702 West Clark Street, Prichard, Alabama, at 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral hour, with Rev. Alvin Hamilton, Pastor and officiating Minister. Interment will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to HODGES FUNERAL CHAPEL (Successors to Smith & Gaston), 701 Dr. Martin Luther King Avenue, Mobile, Alabama.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Williamson Brown:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile died December 11, 1999 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Alexander J. Brown and her son, Alexander J. Brown, III, her parents Jack and Pearl Markstein, and Sanford Williamson, her brother-in-law, Dr. N.L. Brown, She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Joe Vella; sister-in-law, Dot Brown; five nieces, Joan Siegwald, Betty Woolley, Barbara Brown, Mary Lynn Farrell, Nell Dulion; her beloved friends, Hank O'Connor, Philip Everett and Michelle Eckoff; her pets, Major and Whitey. Mrs. Brown was a charter member and one of the founders of the Providence Gift Shop. She also served as president of the Mobile County Medical Auxiliary. She was active in the Mobile Opera Guild, The Old Dauphin Way Historic Preservation and Mobile Arts Council. Private Graveside services will be held December 13, 1999. Honorary pallbearers were, Dr. Nick C. Nichols, Dr. Kevin Saucier, Dr. C. Adrain Bodet, III, Dr. Patrick Nolan, Dr. Steve Alsip and Dr. Phillip Madonia. Active pallbearers were Bill McAtee, Bill Lee, Tom Siegwald, Steve Woolley, Bobby Farrell and Lee Dulion. Remembrances may be made to The Providence Hospital Foundation or the Sisters of Mercy, 101 Wimbledon Drive. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Ollie Pouncey Cook:
Age 76, a native of Calvert, AL and a resident of Mobile died on Saturday, December 11, 1999 at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, James M. Cook of Mobile; one daughter, Penny C. (Jimmy) King of Mobile; one son, Martin (Julia) Cook of Grand Bay, AL; 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 2 P.M. Visitation will be 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.

Mr. Henry Ford Cook, Sr.:
79, a native of Butler County, Alabama and longtime resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama died Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at Thomas Hospital, Fairhope, AL. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort; Spanish Fort Masonic Lodge No. 916; served as President of the Spanish Fort Water System for 37 years; retired journalist with the Mobile Press Register for 20 years and editor of the Fairhope Courier and The Baldwin Times. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Edith Ward Cook, Spanish Fort, AL; one son, Henry Ford (Carla) Cook, Jr., Ocean Springs, MS; one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Cook (David) Hanis, Richmond, CA; one brother, Kendrick Cook, Opp, AL; four grandchildren, Lauren E. Cook, Summerdale, AL, Henry Ford Cook, III, Summerdale, AL, J. Collin Cook, Ocean Springs, MS and Cameron E. Cook, Ocean Springs, MS; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Berry officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, December 13, 1999 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests the memorials be made to the Van Fund of First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort, P.O. Box 7111, Spanish Fort, Alabama 36577. Funeral arrangements are by NORRIS FUNERAL HOME, Bay Minette, Alabama.

John William Chrestman:
Age 64, a native of Tunica, MS, and a resident of Daphne, AL passed away Friday, December 10, 1999, at his residence. Funeral services and interment were held, from the graveside, Saturday, December 11, 1999, in Daphne Baptist Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m., where Alfred Yancey officiated. Pallbearers were Mike Pintarelli, Vic Lazzari, Jr., James Sirmon, Glen Grimes, Sr., Mike Elliott and Tony DeFilippi. Arrangements by WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 28720 U.S. Hwy 98, Daphne, AL.
