A native of Choctaw County and lifelong resident of Citronelle, AL departed this life November 26, 1999. He was preceded in death by parents, his brothers, and sisters, except one surviving sister, Mrs. Nellie Rhodes of Citronelle, AL. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife for many years, Mrs. Betty Gray Davis, Willow Trace Nursing Facility, Butler, AL; a son, Mr. E. C. (Jo) Vaughn of Louisiana; four daughters, Mrs. Earline Manuel Franklin, Mrs. Geraldine (Albert) Harpert of Mobile, AL, Mrs. Sherry Denice Pierce and Mrs. Tillie Lee Baker of Citronelle, AL; 7 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, 19 great grandchildren; loving and caring nieces, Mrs. Estell Howard Brooklin, Mobile, Mrs. Louisiana Thornt, Prichard, Mrs. Blanch Grimes, Vinegar Bend, AL, Mrs. Mary Arrington, Waynesboro, MS, Mrs. Annie B. Jordan, Dayton, OH; loving and caring nephews, Mr. Excell Howard, Mobile, Mr. Major Howard, Miami, FL, Mr. Mancy Howard, Stockton, CA and Mr. Lemon Howard, Vinegar Bend, AL; a very devoted friend, Mrs. Claudia Ward Citronelle; special friends, Mr. Mike Gibbs & Family, Mr. Jerome and Loretta Ward, Mrs. Dot Odom, Mrs. Judia (Paul) Davoe, Mr. Charles Malone, Mrs. Frances Newberry, The Booth Family, Mrs. Lennie Reynolds, Mr. H. Mr. Woodrow Wilson Davis:
age 88. a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died on Thursday, December 9, 1999 at a local health facility. A member of Central Assembly of God Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Minnie Eloise Davis. He is survived by 2 sons; Robert Milo (Barbara Joan) Davis of Mobile, AL, William G. (Linda) Davis of Mobile, AL; 1 Sister; Nellie Shaw of Opelika, AL. 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lema H. Dunn:
Born Marshall County, Alabama on May 14, 1914, died on Friday, December 10, 1999 in a local hospital. She was a longtime resident of Mobile County and the widow of William A. Dunn. Mrs. Dunn is survived by her children, Maida J. Crabtree of Ocean Springs, MS, Janice D. Etchison of Mobile, AL, Phyllis D . Goodridge of Windsor, CT, William E. Dunn of Moraga, CA and Elywn L. Dunn of Mobile, AL; six grandchildren, one great grandchild. Also her siblings, Wilma E. Lee of Robertsdale, Al, E. Bruce Heard of Milton, FL and George Edward Heard of Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13, 1999 a t 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A native and lifelong resident of Irvington, AL died Saturday, December 11, 1999. Beloved son of Dewayne and Misty Henderson. Mrs. Grace Morris Ivy:
A native of Escambia County, AL and a resident of Mobile died on Friday, December 10, 1999 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cecil Ivy. She is survived by one brother, John P. Morris of Mobile, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 12 noon. Visitation will be 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services were held from Providence Church of God on Saturday, December 11, 1999 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joey Termon and Rev. Don Campbell officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Hall, Dr. Timothy Ahmadi, Rev. Ed Boutwell, Robert Saunders, Sheriff Jack Tillman and Chief Deputy James Mayo. Active pallbearers were Richard Murphy, Kenny Stuckey, Joe Jackson, Josh Burroughs, David Murphy, Bobby Stuckey, Terry Carter and Gerod Wallace. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery. Evelyn Anne Daggett Habeeb:
83, died Friday, December 10, 1999 in Pascagoula. Mrs. Habeeb was born May 13, 1916, in Pascagoula and was a lifetime resident. She along with her husband, Thomas Anthony Habeeb, Sr. were the former owners of Dad 'n Lad in Pascagoula. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Anthony Habeeb, Sr., and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Daggett; a brother, James Daggett and 2 sisters, Ellen Daggett and Adeline Daggett. Survivors include 2 sons, Joseph Habeeb of Gautier, MS and Thomas Habeeb, Jr. of Pascagoula, MS; 2 daughters, Yvonne Mezrano, Sr. of Birmingham, AL and Evelyn Taranto of Pensacola, FL; 3 sisters, Yvonne Williams, Olga Smith and Melvina Warner; a brother, Bobby Daggett; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula on Sunday, December 12, 1999 at 2:30 P.M. Visitation will be at St. John's Episcopal Church, Sunday, December 12, 1999 1:30-2:30 P.M. Burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. O'BRYANT O'KEEFE in Pascagoula will be in charge of arrangements.
