Guy Anthony Zoghby:
Age 65, of Niceville, FL, died Friday, December 10, 1999, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after an extended illness. Guy was born in Mobile, AL to Herbert M. Zoghby, I, and Laurice Haik Zoghby. He had an independent legal practice of Mediation and Arbitration in Niceville, FL after retiring as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of PPG Industries, Inc. Previously, he worked as an attorney for the IBM Corporation for 21 years. He was an Army officer from 1955 to 1965, serving in the Judge Advocate and past president of American Judicature Society. He was active in the following organizations; America n Arbitration Association; National Center for State Courts; Center for Public Resources; and the American Law Institute. He was on the Board of Visitors, University of Cincinnati College of Law. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6300 McKenna Drive, Mobile, AL, with Guy's brother, Father James Zoghby officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church following the service. Guy is survived by his loving wife, Judy-ann Zoghby, of Niceville, FL; daughter, Madelyn Zoghby, Silver Springs, Maryland; sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Nancy Zoghby of St. Louis, Missouri; and Greg and Kathy Zoghby of Richmond, Virginia. He also has six grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Benjamin, Nicole, Samantha, and Andrew. His immediate family includes sisters, Mary Z. Haffner, Kennesaw, Georgia, and Louise Z. Buckley, Metairie, Louisiana; brothers, Herbert M. and James F. Zoghby of Mobile, AL and John H. Zoghby, Crosby, Texas. He also has 10 nieces and nephews, Amy, Abby, Judy, Mary, John, James, Jeriad, Jessica, Erik and Eva. Mr. Frank William Browning:
A native of Mt. Sterling, Illinois and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Saturday, December 11, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Mary R. Browning; one son, Frank W. Browning, Jr., of Mobile; two grandchildren, Michael W. Browning of Mobile, AL and Scott L. Browning of Birmingham, AL; and one sister, Elizabeth Liddell of Memphis, TN. Mrs. Letha Coon Buck:
A native of Escambia County, AL and resident of Mobile died Saturday, December 11, 1999 in a local hospital. She is survived by her sons, Murray (Regina) Buck of Mobile and Gerald (Mary) Buck of Atmore, AL; sisters, Mrs. Luverne Brewer of Mobile and Mrs. Reba Criswell of Pensacola, FL; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. A native of Port Arthur, Texas and resident of Mobile for many years died Saturday, December 11, 1999 in a local hospital. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Eugene Eastburn. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Karen E. Carter of Needland, TX; a son, M.A. (Pal) Eastburn of Mobile; a sister, Mrs. Helen Harper of Port Arthur, TX; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and other relatives.
