Mr. Patrick Flaherty:
A native of Millville, PA and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died at a local healthcare facility on Monday, December 6, 1999. Mr. Flaherty retired from the United States Coast Guard and in later years, he worked at Region's Bank in the Maintenance Department. He is survived by two children, Richard Flaherty and Bernice Sahlin; a devoted cousin, Charlotte Slater of Greenville, PA and two special friends, Gloria Lowther and Dean Dreaper, both Mobile. Arrangements will be handled by the United States Coast Guard for scattering Mr. Flaherty's cremains at sea. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.
Mrs. Ollie Pouncey Cook:
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Shelton Larrimore officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Gerald Hicks, Roger Vardaman and Jimmy King. Active pallbearers are Bo Collom, Peyton Bryars, Jr., Earl Thompson, Charlie Gray Hovell, Bill Skidmore and Archie French. Mrs. Grace Morris Ivy:
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, on Monday, December 13, 1999 at 12 Noon. Officiated by Rev. Ken Autry. Honorary pallbearers were Edward Ivy, Wayne Ivy, James Ivy, and Al Normand. Active pallbearers were Leo Normand, Roy Skipper, Glenn P. Morris, Michael A. Morris, David P. Gray, and Robert Ivy. Tracy Rene' Kountz:
A Native of Wilmer, Alabama died Sunday, December 12, 1999 at a local hospital. She was a member of the West Mobile Jaycees, the Deep South Girl Scout Council, and Semmes Ball Park. She had also served in the Army, and was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Timbo Kountz; three children, Misty Kountz, Jesse Kountz, and Candace Kountz, one step-daughter, Heather Kountz; one sister, Stacy Karl, her mother, Jewell Dean Howell; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Snow Rd. from 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Wilmer Cemetery.
Mr. William Thomas Lambert, Jr.:
68 years, of Bay St. Louis, MS died Friday, December 10, 1999 in Bay St. Louis, MS. A native of Whistler, AL and a resident of Bay St. Louis, MS. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a Government Inspector for Stennis Space Center and was a Southern Baptist. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Grace Lee Lambert, Sr.; brother, Conrad Lambert and sister, Mary Christie. He is survived by three sons, Thomas Eugene Lambert of Long Beach, CA, Lee Wyatt Lambert of Gonzales, LA and Jerry Dwain Lambert of Michuan, Mexico; one daughter, April Beth Landry of Pensacola, FL and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 1999 in Innerarity Point, FL at 1:00 pm from The DeValcourt Home located at 5490 Cruzat Way, Innerarity Point, FL. Burial will be private. Family prefers donations to be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children in Memphis, TN. EDMOND FAHEY FUNERAL HOME in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Elizabeth L. Nelson:
A native and longtime resident of Mobile and a resident of Baldwin County for the past two years, died Sunday December 12, 1999 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall T. Nelson. She is survived by three children; Marshall "Ted" Nelson (Diana) of Tennessee, Lynn Long (James) and Mary Beth Berry (Bob) both of Fairhope; one brother, John T. Lutz of Mobile; two sisters, Madeline L. Wall and Mae L. Kling all of Mobile; seven grandchildren, Kim Quinley, Lisa Thomas, Michael Patrick, Mary Leigh Patrick, Chris Patrick, Dustin Nelson and Jeremy Nelson; five great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be 11:00am Tuesday December 14, 1999 at Radney Funeral Home followed by graveside services at 1:00pm in Pine Crest Cemetery. Mrs. Pennington was a longtime member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace W. Pennington, and three sons, W. Claude Pennington, Cecil A. Pennington and W. Glenn Pennington. She is survived by two daughters, Myrtle P. Rush, of Mobile, AL and Gwendolyn P. "Penny" Danison, of West Palm Beach, FL; two daughters-in-law, Vail R. Pennington and Aleen L. Pennington; one sister, Jessie B. Huff, of Bogalusa, LA; ten grandchildren, Mary Vail Pilgrim, of Saraland, AL, Linda P.
