Sullivan of Chunchula, AL and Linda R. (Ronnie) Townsend of Semmes, AL; one brother, James O. (Haley) Rodgers of Saraland, AL; nieces, nephews, one great-nephew and other relatives. Mr. Wiley E. Langston:
A native of Snell, MS and a resident of Mobile, AL died Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl J. Langston; one daughter, Tracey (Keith) Varnadore of Theodore, AL; three sons, Michael (Julie) Langston of McIntosh, AL, Brandon Langston and Joshua Langston, both of Mobile, AL; two grandchildren, Hayley and Alex Langston of McIntosh, AL; three brothers, two sisters, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 1999 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Home. Mr. Robert Lee Lovelace:
A native of Chambers County, AL and a longtime resident of Saraland, AL died Tuesday, December 14, 1999. Mr. Lovelace was a member of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church for over 20 years and retired as a Research Technician at International Paper Company after 37 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Nita Lovelace of Saraland, AL; one son, Mark Allen Lovelace of Saraland, AL; one daughter, Dawn Renee Peeples of Coleman, AL; one step-son, Rexcil Larson of Theodore, AL; one sister, Patricia Ann Freeman of LaFayette, AL; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica and A.J. Mrs. Carolyn Glover McDonough:
Age 61. A native of San Marino, CA. and a longtime resident of Mobile, passed away Monday, December 13, 1999 at a local hospital. She attended Vanderbilt University. A member of Christ Episcopal Church, she was head of the altar guild. She was also a longtime member of the Mobile Infirmary auxiliary, Providence Hospital auxiliary and the Junior League of Mobile. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands: Lee Lee & Cliff Brady of Mobile, AL, Lisa & Tom Howick of Marietta, GA, and West & Jim Flanagan of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her mother, Lucy Y. Glover of San Marino, CA; one sister, Barbara G. Tucker of Aptos, CA; one brother, Thomas Y. Glover of Beverly Hills, CA; her former husband, William L. McDonough of Orange Beach, AL; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Christ Episcopal Church on Thursday, December 16, 1999 at 10:00am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am. Mrs. Josephine Odom Montgomery:
born May 10, 1905, departed this life on December 10, 1999. She was born to the late Simon and Lucy Odom in Hybert, AL. She was a longtime resident of Beatrice and Mobile, AL. She leaves to cherish her memory seven children; Novella (David) Bass, Ollie (Catherine) Montgomery, Jr., and Lucy (Marion) Parker of Mobile, AL, Mattie M. Walton of Randolph Mass., Dr. Erma M. Withers of Bethesda, MD., Rosalind Stallworth of Beatrice, AL. and James E. Montgomery of Augusta, GA., a devoted brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Henry S. Montgomery of Mobile, AL. and Mattie R. Odom of Cantonement, FL., twelve grandchildren, and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially those of the senior citizen organization at her church. She was a faithful member of Christian United Church, located at 2576 Pleasant Valley Road, Mobile, AL. 36606. Visitation will held on Friday, December 17, 1999 from 6:00pm until the 7:00pm funeral hour with Rev. Charles Campbell, presiding and Rev. H.N. Edwards eulogizing. Funeral services were held from the graveside on Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at 12:00 noon officiated by Rev. J.D. Kelley. Pallbearers were Cliff Pennington, Walter Rush, Ellis Danison, Martin Rush, Richard Rush, and Philip Rush. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. James R. Powell:
A Greenville, AL native and a longtime resident of Mobile died Sunday, December 12, 1999 at a local hospital at the age of 74. He is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline P. Jones of Okinawa, Japan, and Angiline Powell of Fort Worth, TX; one grandson, Ryan V. Jones of Okinawa, Japan; three sisters, Annie Womack of Mobile, Arwilla P. Curry, of Dallas, TX, and Mamie Powell of Los Angeles, CA; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers, one sister, and a son-in-law.
