A native and lifelong resident of the Mobile area died at the family residence on Wednesday, December 15, 1999. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his son, James Evans. He is survived by his wife, Amy Lee Evans, Wilmer; six daughters, Evelyn Bernice Langham, Dothan, Virginia J. Abernathy, Sacramento, CA, Joan E. Bodan, Mobile, Nita F. Pratt, Wilmer, Rebecca Roscoe, Mobile, Patricia Abbott, Enfield, NH, son, Cecil B. Evans, Jr., Wilmer; 2 sisters, Catherine Roberts, Mobile, Pauline Bagwell, Pine View, AL; brother, Cas B. Evans, Semmes, AL; 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Mildred Campbell Fairchild:
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 16, 1999, 10 AM from the Chapel of Radney-Belmany Funeral Home. Officiating was Rev. Dave Hudson. Pallbearers were James Fuller, James Fuller II, William Fairchild III, Frank Douglas, Robbie Perry, and Frank Perry. Interment followed at Enterprise Cemetery, Enterprise, MS. Peter Simon Fairconatue:
November 18, 1920 - December 14, 1999. Born to the union of Peter Marshall Fairconatue and Rachel Willis Fairconatue in Mobile, AL, passed this life on Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at a local hospital. He was a WWII Veteran serving mostly in Germany in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Azie Lee Fairconatue; three sisters, Alberta Thompson, Minette Davis and Alfreda Davis. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters and one step daughter, Marian Fairconatue of Wisconsin, Blanche (Levelle) Anderson of Illinois and Lillie Gaston of Wisconsin; a sister, Marian F. Williams of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Margaret McMiller of Illinois; a brother-in-law, D. C. Agnew of Illinois; 14 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of loving nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and his church family. His body will lie in state at the New Community Church of God in Christ, 132 W Turner Road on Saturday, December 18, 1999 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral hour with Supt. A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died in a local hospital on Tuesday, December 14, 1999. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Hemmingway of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Jamie R. Sullivan of Chunchula, AL and Linda R. (Ronnie) Townsend of Semmes, AL; one brother, James O. (Haley) Rodgers of Saraland, AL; nieces, nephews, one great-nephew and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. A native of Calvert, AL and a lifelong resident of Malcolm, AL. departed this life December 13, 1999 at a local hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted family; two sons, Hughey (Minnie) Law, Malcolm, AL. and Warren (Eugenia) Law, Prichard, AL; Four Daughters, Gracie (Lee) Harris and Juanita Law, Mobile, AL., Ethel (Johnny) Goines, Malcolm, AL and Beverly (Dewayne) Barnes, Calvert, AL., Two brothers, Lester (Lula) Turner and Hamp Turner, Mobile, AL.; Seventeen Grandchildren; Sixteen Great Grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends. Her remains will lie in state at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, Friday, December 17, 1999 from 12:00 to 6:00 pm and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday, December, 18 1999 at Big John Missionary Baptist Church, Bates Lane Road, Malcolm, AL. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at which time Rev. A native of Mobile and a resident of Chickasaw died at a local hospital on Wednesday, December 15, 1999. Mrs. Mastin was a member of the Chickasaw Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ferrell Mastin, Sr. of Chickasaw; seven children, Pat (Larry) Bulliner, Knoxville, TN, Ferrell "Red" (Patricia) Mastin, Jr. of Saraland, Linda (John) Hord of Pittsburg, PA, Sandra (Linwood) Steiner of Theodore, Sharon (Bill) McFadden of Satsuma, Charles Mastin of Theodore, and Larry (Pam) Mastin of Satsuma; three sisters, Betty Madison of Chickasaw, Frances Lolley of Mobile, Barbara Reed of Saraland; three brothers, John Sumerlin of Chickasaw, Martin Sumerlin of Prichard, and James Sumerlin of Chickasaw; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday, December 17, 1999 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 12 noon from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. A native of Fountain, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile died in a local convalescent center Tuesday, December 14, 1999. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years. Also a member of the Sunday School and Missionary Society and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Minnifield and son, Fred D. Miller, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, four grandchildren, one devoted, Karen E. Miller, Dr. Fred D. (Patricia) Miller, Jr., Phoenix, AZ, Lamond T. Miller and MSgt Kenneth (Sanquenatta) Miller, Ft. Hood, TX; ten great grandchildren, Karonda Everette, Sean Miller, Michele Miller, Nicole Miller Starque, Nakeba Dowdy, Shawn, Lamond T.
