Alabama, U.S., County Marriage Records, 1805-1967 - 1814-1935

Lucile Cox:
Age 80, a native of Escambia County, AL and resident of Loxley, died Wed., Dec. 15, 1999. She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Jean Cawley of Pensacola, FL and Elaine Evans of Burbank, CA; one son, W. Carey Cox of Westminster, Maryland; two sisters, Willie Mae Powell and Voncile Whittaker both of Irvington, AL; two brothers, Cecil Barnes and Curtis Barnes both of Bayou La Batre, AL; 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sat., Dec. 18, 1999 at 12 Noon from the Mack Funeral Home Chapel, Robertsdale. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Bayou La Batre, AL at 2:30 PM. A visitation will be held Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM at Mack Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements by MACK FUNERAL HOME, INC. Hwy 59, Robertsdale, AL.

Mrs. Mabell Truly Parker:
Age 91, a native of George County, MS and resident of Mobile died at a local hospital, Thursday, December 16, 1999. She was a member of Government Street Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Maye Burgess of Pensacola, FL, and Peggy Sue (Carlton) Jackson of Tallahassee, FL; one son, James F. (Evelyn) Parker, Jr. of Mobile; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one sister, Beulah Thurman of Mobile; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 18 at 12 noon in Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Arrangements by PINE CREST FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605. (334) 478-5227.

Mrs. Virginia Perryman:
A native of Tuscaloosa, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL for the past 40 years died at her residence on Friday, December 17, 1999. Mrs. Perryman retired from WKRG TV-5 after 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Perryman. She is survived by; nieces, Angela (Carl) Johnson of Vinegar Bend, AL, Janice (Gerald) Robbins of Chunchula, AL; nephew, Steve Sanders of Kennedy, AL; a sister, Marguerite Parnell of Bay Minette, AL; a sister-in-law, Mildred Alexander of Madison Heights, VA; nieces, Johnnie Vines of Bay Minette, AL, Kristie Carnly of Madison Heights, VA; nephews, Pete Panter of Bay Minette, AL and Ronny Alexander of Madison Heights, VA, and other relatives. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 10:30am with Interment in Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00am until 10:00am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: The Infirmary Foundation-Infirmary Hospicecare Fund. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

Mr. Claude S. Price, Jr.:
A native of Bogue Chitto, MS and a resident of Mobile since 1966, died Friday, December 17, 1999. Mr. Price was a World War II Veteran Staff Sargent with the Eighth Army Air Force stationed in England September 26, 1942 - October 14, 1945. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #49 and #162. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Nell Marie Howell Price; one sister, Bonnelle Price (Cornelius) Ladnier, of Bay St. Louis, MS, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, December 19, 1999 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL.

Mr. Bryant W. Sheehy:
Funeral services were held from the graveside on Friday, December 17, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Dr. James Walters and Rev. Howell Easterling officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Sy Bufkin, George Denniston, Robert Denniston, Jim Wiggins, Bob Haskins, Tom Bodden, Claude Moore and Ellis Davis. Active pallbearers were Thomas Gaillard, Jr., Thomas Gaillard, III, Bill Sheehy and Joe Hess. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL.

C. Roy Stringer:
Funeral services were held Friday, December 17, 1999 at 10:00am from the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Holland officiating. Pallbearers were, Ray Stringer, Isaac Roland, George Inman, Don Brown, Raymond Skoglund, Johnny Miller. Interment was in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL.

Mr. Kurt W. Vischer:
He passed away on Thursday, December 16, 1999 to join his beloved wife Lilo. He was born in Wildberg, Germany in 1921 and immigrated to Canada in 1953 and California in 1958. He has been a resident in Mobile since 1995 to be near his family. Son Kurt S. Vischer and Angelika Vischer. Grandson Kurt N. Vischer and Renee Vischer, his sister Lore Brusch and many friends. He will be cremated and there will be a family and friends get together on Sunday the 19th from 2-6 on 9507 Sky Vista Dr, Semmes. Please do not send any flowers or contributions.

Mrs. Vance Allen:
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 18, 1999 from the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Wilkins officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Johnnie H. Jones, Alfred Scott, Troy Dixon, Richard O. Barton, Eldon S. Byrd and Wilmer Sigler. Honorary pallbearers included the teachers and students of Scarbrough School. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangement were by PINE CREST FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605 334-478-5227.
