Mary Ann Mastin:
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 12 noon officiated by Rev. Peter Cooper and W. T. Allison. Honorary pallbearer were Glenn Summers [another listing has a different spelling] and Jeff Corley, Jr. Active pallbearers were Jason Nichols, Jim Parten, Johnny Alley, Chris Mastin, Issac Mastin, Jimmy Sumerlin, Linnie Steiner and John Bullard. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements were by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL.

Lugene Pollock, Sr.:
Born August 11, 1924 in Baker, Florida, departed this life on Thursday, December 16, 1999. A longtime resident of Fowl River, AL, Lugene was preceded in death by one son, Lugene Pollock, Jr. and one grandson, Lugene Pollock III. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Catherine Pollock; two daughters, Joyce Pollock and Rose (Robert) Hester of Fowl River, AL; seven sons, Claude Pollock, Sr., Will (Patricia) Pollock, and Stanley Pollock of New Orleans, LA, Karl Pollock of Mobile, AL, James Pollock and Ralph Pollock of Fowl River, AL and Derrick (Terilaine) Pollock of Theodore, AL; one sister, Sadie Marshall of Mobile, AL; two aunts, Essie (Abraham) Donaldson of Crestview, FL and Lessie English of Chicago, IL; one devoted cousin, Donnie Bryant of Theodore, AL; 16 loving and devoted grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 8 sisters-in-law, 6 brothers-in-law, one devoted family friend, Richard Hollis; devoted friends, Thelma and Leroy Collins, Myles Coleman, Raymond Coleman, L.C. Millhouse and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Lovett's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at 11AM with Rev. William H. Parrish, officiating. Interment will be in Fowl River Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by LOVETT'S FUNERAL CHAPEL, 404 Dr. M. L. King, Jr. Ave., Mobile, AL.

George Campbell Wardle:
A native of Piney Flats, TN and resident of Mobile, AL died at a local hospital, Monday, December 20, 1999. He was a longtime employee of the U.S. Civil Service as a sheet metal mechanic at Brookley Field and Pensacola Naval Air Station. After his retirement in 1977, he worked in the Security Department at QMS, retiring again in 1992. He was a member of Abba Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Mobile, AL. He was a 32nd... [cut off]

George Campbell Wardle:
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22, 1999 from the Chapel of Radney-Belmany Funeral Home at 10am. Officiating was Rev. Bill Whitfield. Pallbearers were Jack Sheffield, Vitaliano N. Dagsa, William Cooper, Lambert Mims, Frank Ethridge and James Greeg. Full Masonic Funeral rites were given by the Azalea Lodge No 898 F&AM. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY-BELMANY FUNERAL HOME, 6110 Grelot Road, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

Mr. William B. Welch:
Graveside Services were held in Pine Crest Cemetery on Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at 9:00 AM, followed by Memorial Services at 11:00 AM from Dauphin Way United Methodist Church. Officiated by Dr. Mike Watson, Dr. Stephen Dill, and Rev. Clyde Pressley. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.

Mrs. Lula White:
A native of Peterman, AL and lifelong resident of St. Elmo, AL, departed her life on Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at a local hospital. She was born on July 24, 1920. Her p arents the late Ralph and Emily Tolbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Aaron White and one brother, the late George Tolbert. She is survived by her children, two daughters, Lillie (Walter) Parker, Lulu Mae White, both of St. Elmo, AL, four sons, Lamar (Sonnie) White, Willie White, both of St. Elmo, AL, Eddie White, Mobile, AL, and Ralph White, Fowl River, AL; three sisters, Hazel Kyles, St. Elmo, AL, Maybell Kyles and Emily (Jimmy) Davis, both of Grand Bay, AL; one sister in law, Ella Tolbert, Irvington, AL; two brothers, Leonard (Delores) Tolbert, St. Elmo, AL, and Floyd (Viola) Tolbert, Malvis, AL; one brother in law, Jimmy White, Peterman, AL; fourteen grandchildren, two devoted, Angela Peyton and Jessie McCorvery, Jr., both of St. Elmo, AL; nineteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at 12 PM at New Welcome Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Darryl Riley. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until funeral time. Interment will be held in Lawn Haven. The family would like to thank Dr. David Macray, the staff of Knollwood Hospital and the staff at Knollwood Long Term Care Hospital. Mr. Jesse Kapu AI:
A native of Mahukona, Hawaii, and resident of Mobile, Alabama for over fifty-two years, died on Friday, December 17, 1999. He was the 8th child born to the late Charles and Hattie Kailihune AI. Mr. AI was a retired Merchant Marine of the NMU Seaman's Union, where he worked for forty years. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Marguerite Singleton AI; one devoted daughter, Lettice (Ronald, Sr.) Suggs; three devoted sons, Laveexeer AI of Alameda, California, Aundrea (Alfreda) AI of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Antonio (Vanessa) AI of Mobile, Alabama; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Grace (Magellan Goode of Mobile, Alabama; 18 grandchildren, Lavarin Ellis of Mobile, Serita, Lolita and Lavonda AI of St. Louis, Missouri, Desiree AI of Reno, Nevada, Kitrich AI, Tchetha AI Cooper and Taschet AI-Black of Colorado Springs, Amerio English of Bay Minette, Antonio AI, Jr., Zannaire AI, Joyce Able and Travis Williams of Mobile, AL, Chasity, Jessica, Ronald, Jr., Bryant Suggs and Ryan Foster, all of Mobile; seven great grandchildren. He will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, 1999 from 9:30 until 11AM funeral hour at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 1267 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. Mobile, A L. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHNSON-ALLEN MORTUARY, 600 Chestnut St., Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Evelyn Hagan Benniefield:
A native of Mobile, AL, born October 23, 1932 and a resident of Prichard, AL departed this life on Thursday, December 16, 1999 at her home. She was p receded in death by her husband, Elmore Benniefield; her daughter, Linda B. Johnson; and her mother, Dora Hagan. She is survived by her step-daughter, Yolanda (Herman) Hall of Prichard, AL; seven grandchildren, Latanya (Earnest) James of Mobile, AL, Howard Johnson of Germany, Sherry Johnson of Prichard, AL, Iesha Armstrong of Mobile, AL, Keevia Crenshaw, Nathan Hall and Lean-Da Hall all of Prichard, AL; 1 son-in-law, George Johnson of Prichard, AL; 1 aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth (Rev. Cleon) Poole of Hot Springs, AR; 1 uncle, Hand y (Carrie) Miles of Shreveport, LA; 4 great-grandchildren, Bradley Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Linda Johnson and Ladarian Johnson; 1 God -daughter, Shagari Tinsley of Mobile, AL; and a host of other relatives and loving friends. Visitation will be at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, December 23, 1999 from 9:00am until the 11:00am funeral hour. Rev. Sylvester Adams Pastor and officiating Minister. Mrs. Agnes Tuttle Brown:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, departed this life on Monday, December 20, 1999. She was a graduate of Most Pure Heart of Mary High School. In 1988 she was the recipient of the Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice Medal from His Holiness, Pope John Paul II for outstanding service to the Roman Catholic Church. She was a chartered member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #350, a member of the Ladies of Charity, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Altar Society and a faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She is survived by her devoted husband, Walter Brown, Mobile; four daughters, Brenda T. Brown, Beverly B. Jones, Wanda V. Madison and Karen C. Frazier, all of Mobile; daughter-in-law, Bernadette Brown, Mobile; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, December 23, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Archbishop Oscar H. Lipscomb will be the celebrant with Rev. Robert P. Zawacki, and Rev. Msgr Kenneth Klepac as con-celebrants and Rev. Mr. Alexander F. Moore will assist. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHNSON-ALLEN MORTUARY, 600 Chestnut St., Mobile, AL.

Mary Campbell:
A resident of Mobile died Saturday, December 18, 1999. Funeral Services will be held today at 12:00 noon at Serenity Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place in Serenity Memorial Garden. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL.
