75, died on December 21, 1999 at her residence. Mrs. Duncan was born April 7, 1924 in Clay, Kentucky. She was predeceased in life by her husband, Thomas R. Duncan and her son, Joe David Duncan. She is survived by her son, Thomas M. Duncan; two daughters, Donna S. Thomas and Mary Ann Hansen. She is also survived by two brothers, Elie Liles, Jr. and Riley M. Liles; two sisters, Virginia Frances Ames and Ruby M. Waters; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and may nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dora P. Ervin:
(Dear Dear), a native of Uniontown, AL, former resident of Jackson, AL and a resident of Whistler, AL, born December 25, 1910, passed Monday, December 20, 1999. She was a member of Allenville A.O.H. Church of God. She leaves to cherish her precious memory five daughters, Edna Miller, Ida (Joseph) Bell and Glo (Vernell) Walker, all of Mobile, AL, Azalia (Paul) Wright and Dora (Clay) Stuart, both of Dallas, TX; 16 grandchildren, two devoted, Willie Mae Ervin, Mobile, AL and Georgia (Clausell) Powell of Lewiston, Maine; 30 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home Wednesday, December 22, 1999 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM a nd after 9:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 1999 at Allenville A.O.H. Church of God, 2930 Whistler Ave. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at which time Rev. Richard Curtis will conduct the funeral service. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Louise Wales Ford:
A native of Mammoth Spring, AR and resident of Mobile, died on Monday, December 20, 1999 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Ford, Sr. She is survived by four children, Anne F. (John) Heard of New Orleans, LA, Lee Ford of Pensacola, FL, Edward R. (Jane) Ford of Mobile, Mary Lynn (Steve) Chadwell of Fairhope, A L; nine grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, December 23, 1999 from 10:30-1 1:30 AM followed by graveside services and interment in Pine Crest Cemetery at 12 noon. Mr. Nehemiah Frank:
A native of Copeland, AL and a resident of Mobile, Alabama for 39 years, departed this life on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at his home after a long period of illness. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving, caring, sweet, devoted wife of 42 years, Mrs. Linda (Lizander) Frank; fifteen beautiful children; three sisters; four brothers; three sisters-in-law; 35 grandchildren; four devoted great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native Mobilian, departed this life on Sunday, December 19, 1999 in a local hospital. She is survived by a loving and devoted family, her mother, Mrs. Minnie T. Braggs of Mobile, AL; one daughter, Ms. Rhonda F. Gates of Atlanta, GA; one son, Mr. Derrick D. (Sheryl) Gates of Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren, Deidra, Roderick, Travis and Eric Gates, all of Atlanta, GA, Derrick Gates, Jr. and Calan Gates, both of Montgomery, AL; one brother, Mr. Alfred Ezell of Mobile, AL; a god-son, Mr. Dedric Mitchell of Mobile, AL; a host of cousins, two devoted, Mrs. Mary L. A native of Montgomery, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL for over 41 years, died in a local hospital on Tuesday, December 21, 1999. Mrs. Harris was a member of University Baptist Church. She is survived by two children, Herbert Lamar Harris, Jr. of Mobile, AL and Kathy Diane Nicholas of Wilmer, AL; two sisters, Sue Crabtree and Rosemary Kennington; three grandsons, two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, December 23, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment will be in New Hope Gardens. A native of Mobile, Alabama and a former resident of New York City died at a local hospital on Monday, December 20, 1999. He is survived by his six children, Collis Harris, Jr., Rhea, Taryn, Blair, Keith, and Fern Harris; one brother, Hartman Harris; one sister, Felisha Powe; two nieces, Yvonne Bryant and Earline Powe; and other relative and friends. A native of Heron Bay, Alabama, and a resident of Coden, died in a local nursing facility Tuesday, December 21, 1999. She is preceded in death by two sons, Augustus L. Lyons, Jr. and James W. Lyons; and one daughter, Etola Lyons. She is survived by three daughters, Jess M. Collier, of Heron Bay, Alabama, Nelda E. Collier of Alabama Port, Alabama, and Gussie Mallon, of Dauphin Island, Alabama; one son, Joseph H. Lyons of Dauphin Island, Alabama; grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 1999, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the St. Michael's Community Center in Heron Bay, Alabama, with Rosary recited at 7:30 P.M. Mass of Christian burial will be at 12 noon on Thursday, December 23, 1999 at St. Michael's Church in Heron Bay, Alabama. Interment will be in Dorlon Cemetery, Heron Bay, Alabama.
