Mr. Richard Robert Fowlkes:
"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I dwell in the House of the Lord." He beheld the beauty of the Lord on December 20, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shupert H. and Prenella Fowlkes. He is survived by a devoted wife, Mary Alice Fowlkes, he called her "Alice". Three devoted daughters, Iris (Alfred) Thompson Sr., of Mobile, Lorna (Major Willie) Cook III, of Montgomery, AL, Yolanda (SSG Anthony) Hart, of Mobile; five grandsons, Richard and Alfred Thompson Jr., of Mobile, Benito and Christopher Cook, of Montgomery, AL and Darren "Nukie" Hart, of Mobile; two brothers, Shupert (Lillie) Fowlkes Jr., of Tacoma, WA, Wilbert (Janice) Fowlkes, of Detroit, MI; one sister, Mary Nell Fowlkes, of Mobile; three aunts, Evelyn Solomon, Rosa Warner, both of Cleveland, OH, Addie Yarborough, of Birmingham, AL; sisters-in-law, Eva Stallworth, of Hartselle, AL, Earline Henderson, Huntsville, AL, Ella (Herbert) White, of Savannah, GA, Bessie Hinds, of Mobile, Ansola (Billy) Garner, of Tuscumbia, AL; brothers-in-law, J.D. Henderson, of Mt. Vernon, AL and Warren (Lula) Henderson, of Mobile; one god-son, Waltrail Prowell, of Mobile; a host of loving nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends; three devoted friends, Mathew (Essie) Johnson, James (Bessie) Prowell Sr., and Tony Curry. He was a member of Hillsdale Presbyterian Church and a former employee of Alcoa Allied. He was also self-employed. Visitation will be Friday, December 24, 1999 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am funeral hour from the Hillsdale Presbyterian Church with Rev. William McLean officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHNSON-ALLEN MORTUARY, 600 Chestnut St., Mobile, AL.

Mohammed Ali Lanewala:
A native of Dahod, India and a resident of Mobile died on Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at a local hospital. He retired from U.O.P., 1991. He has a PhD from New York University in Chemical Engineering, recently taught math at University of South Alabama and computer classes at Bishop State. He was very active in the International Festival and the India Association of Greater Mobile, also owned a computer consulting company. He is survived by his wife, E. Jean Lanewala; two daughters, Rani J. Lanewala and Shirin A. Lanewala, all of Mobile; one sister, Kubrabai Kolsawala, Dahod, India; two brothers, Taher Ali Lanewala, Mumbai, India and Kalimuddin Lanewala, Dahod, India; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Belmany Funeral Home on Thursday, December 23, 1999 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Mr. Morgan Bradley:
A native of Quincy, FL and a resident of Prichard, AL for a number of years died on December 19, 1999. He was a member of Emanuel AME Church where he served as the Preacher Steward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence (Rosa Nell Bouie) Bradley and wife Carrie Bradley. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Mr. Clarence Lamar Bradley; one devoted daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bessie Henderson Bradley both of Prichard, AL; two sisters, Mrs. Estell Mack of Mobile, AL. Josephine Myrick of Tallahassee, FL; one brother, Mr. Selmo (Elizabeth) Bradley of Quincy, FL; four grandchildren, Terance (Lelia) Bradley of New Orleans, LA, Clarence L. (Felisha) Bradley II of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Kenneth Latorris Bradley of Tallahassee, FL, Terry Bradley of Huntsville, AL; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, December 27, 1999 at 5PM until the 6PM funeral hour from Emanuel AME Church, St. Michael St. with the Rev. John L. Dees, Jr., pastor and officiant. The funeral service will continue on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 in Quincy, FL at St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1445 Old Bainbridge Rd. at 1 PM, with the Rev. Matthew Bryant Officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John AME Church Cemetery, Quincy, FL. Arrangements by JOHNSON-ALLEN MORTUARY, 600 Chestnut St., Mobile, AL.

Lola Rebecca Nichols:
A native of Bullock County and a resident of Chickasaw for many years died Tuesday, December 21, 1999. She is survived by her Daughter, Jeannie (Billy) Colburn; one son, Leonard (Judy) Nichols; three grandsons, Jason Colburn, Justin Colburn, both of Saraland, and Morgan Nichols of Chickasaw; one sister, Marilyn Bass of Montgomery, Alabama; other friends and relatives. Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, 1999 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Graveside services will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama.

Mr. Claude S. Price, Jr.:
A native of Bogue Chitto, MS and a resident of Mobile since 1966, died Friday, December 17, 1999. Mr. Price was a World War II Veteran Staff Sargent with the Eighth Army Air Force stationed in England September 26, 1942 - October 14, 1945. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #49 and #162. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Nell Marie Howell Price; one sister, Bonnelle Price (Cornelius) Ladnier, of Bay St. Louis, MS, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held Sunday, December 19, 1999 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Ketchings Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 21, 1999 in McComb, MS. Visitation was held Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment was in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, MS. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL

Jacqueline Bennett:
A lifelong resident of Mobile died Wednesday, December 22, 1999. Funeral services will be held today at 12 noon from the graveside at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10AM until service time at Serenity Funeral Home. Arrangements by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL

Mrs. Mildred Madelyn Harris:
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, December 23, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Gil Johnson officiating. Pallbearers were J.R. Robinson, Richard Harris, James Waltman, James McInvale, Robert Nicholas, III and Danny Foster. Interment was in New Hope Gardens. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
