Easterling (Maurice) of Mobile, AL; one sister, Ione Ivey of Hattisburg, MS; one grandchild, Amelia Easterling of Mobile, AL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A native of Golden, MO and a resident of Mobile for over 50 years died at his residence on Thursday, December 23, 1999. He is survived by his daughter, Sally Green, Chesterfield, MO; 3 sisters, Joyce Hanna, Paso Robles, CA, Gladys Tekotte, St. Louis, MO, Lura Ichord, Fairfax, VA; 2 grandchildren and other relatives. Family graveside services will be held on Monday, December 27, 1999 at 9:30 AM in Pine Crest Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 10:30 at the Carl Adkins Chapel of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church. Mrs. Shearie Miller Marshall:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, born November 5, 1913 passed Thursday, December 23, 1999 at her residence. She was a member of St. James Major Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies of Charity, Archdiocese Council of Catholic Women, Drexel Society and the Rosary Group. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association, The National Council of Negro Women and an Alumni of Alabama State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Marshall. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her family, Mrs. Mary R. Bell, San Francisco, CA, Linda Denise Evans, Derrick Evans, Erick Evans, August Evans and Courtney Evans; two god-daughters, Ms. Annie Brisbun and Mrs. Charlie Davis Waller, all of Mobile, AL; special friends and caregivers, Ernestine Moore, Catherine Pettway, Frances Blount, Shirley Todd and Francine Williams, the St. James Major Church Family, the Mobile Federation of Women and Youth Clubs, Inc. and many other friends. Mrs. Margaret "Snookie" Lemmon McHugh:
died on Thursday, December 23, 1999 after a lengthy illness. A Mass to Celebrate her life will be held on Monday, December 27, 1999 at St. Aloysius Church in Baton Rouge at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Father Jeff Bayhi of St. Agnes Church. Interment will follow at Green Oaks Cemetery in Baton Rouge. Mrs. McHugh was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a member of St. Aloysius Church. Mrs. McHugh was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon C. McHugh. She is survived by two daughters, Sallie McHugh Lee and husband, Drake, Mary McHugh Wheless and husband, John; one son, Jess L. McHugh and wife, Kathy; nine grandchildren, Sarah Bess, McHugh, and Wesley Lee, Allen, Grace, and Jackson Wheless, Michael, Jessica, and Mary Kate McHugh; and brothers, Noel Lemmons, S.C. and George Dale Lemmon.
