Peter John Gulas:
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 12 (noon) with Rev. James Cleondis officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Emile Zoghby, Dr. S.N. Rumpanos, Lyman Holland, Pete Vrachalus and Robert J. Crow. Active pallbearers were John Gulas, Frank Lundell, Joe Salata, Tony Sarradet, Bo Manley and Jimmy Sarris. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.

Mr. Bennie Lee Harper:
Age 62. A native of Canton, MS a resident of Eight Mile, AL passed at a local hospital on Saturday, December 25, 1999. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Rosie Harper; six daughters, Taletha Harper, Tanza Pippins, Frankie Harper, Kimberly Harper, Felicia (Tracy) Sewell and Ursula Reed; three sons, Terrell Harper, Timothy (Sonya) Harper and Ralphael (Stephanie) Reed; one sister, Jeanette (John) Gaines; one brother, James Smalls; one devoted aunt, Juanita Stewart; 19 grandchildren, one devoted, Brittani Renee Lumpkin; mother and father-in-law, Allen (Minnie) Reed; five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at the Reese Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Rev. J.W. Leggett officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinegrove Cemetery, Axis, AL. REESE FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements. 925 Bessemer Ave. Prichard, AL.

Mrs. Bernice Curry Hentschel:
A native of Calvert, AL and a longtime resident of Chickasaw died on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Frank Hentschel of Chickasaw; one daughter, Nancy Hentschel Seibt of Mobile; two step-grandchildren, Emily Seibt Hoppenjans of Birmingham, and Garet Turner Seibt of Mobile; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with graveside services following at 3:30 P.M. in Mount Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P. M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon at the funeral Home. The family request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home, 1712 Broad St., Selma, Al. 36701. Arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama.

Mr. Robert J. "Bob" Jones:
A native of Columbus, GA and a longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL died on Thursday, December 23, 1999 at a local hospital. He was a man who loved the Lord, a deacon and head usher at Cottage Hill Baptist Church, he retired from International Paper Company after 49 years of service and on the board of directors for the Home of Grace. He was survived by his wife, Myrtice L. Jones of Chickasaw; two daughters, Brenda (Mike) Lloyd of Saraland, AL, Susan (Clifton) Chatham of Daphne, AL; two sisters, two brothers; three grandchildren, Melody Lloyd (Kevin) Malpas of Spanish Ft., AL, Michael Lloyd of Saraland, AL, Cortney Chatham of Daphne, AL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 1999 at 11:00am. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL.

Mrs. Sallie Lou Lee (Daniel):
A resident of Saraland, AL died on Monday, December 27, 1999 at a local hospital. Mrs. Lee was a longtime member of Chickasaw United Methodist Church, member of the DAV Unit 7, a member of the Formerly Married Club, and a retired employee of Mobile County Public Schools. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Lee. She was a very courageous lady, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by four children, Marlin (Carolyn) Lee of Pensacola, FL, Virginia Carolyn (Lyle) Burley of Tallahassee, FL, William (Crina) Lee of Hendersonville, TN, and Mary Lou (Ronnie) Byrd of Semmes, AL, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29, 1999 from 5:00 until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 10:00am on Thursday, December 30, 1999. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL.

Burton H. Silverstein:
Funeral services were held from the Graveside on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 11am. Officiating Ministers were Rabbi Donald Kunstadt and Very Rev. Michael Farmer. Pallbearers were Dominic Walker, Keith Walker, Jamie Walker, Shane Brewer, Floyd Terrell, Allen Hirsch, Ed Olsen and Burt Baker. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY-BELMANY FUNERAL HOME, 6110 Grelot Road, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

Mr. Hugh Charles Simpson:
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Bromstad officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Morris, Bill Pate, Frank Trawick, John Cannon. Active pallbearers were Charles Coulson, Andrew Giddons, Chilton Coulson, Bert Simpson, Leon Pratt, and Earl Broadus. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by MOBILE MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 6040 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Ethel D. Smith:
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 10AM from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Officiating was Rev. Jake Brown. Pallbearers were Michael Smith, Derrick Ross, Winston C. Loper, Jr., Roy Scott, George Dearmon, Vander Loper, Chris Barcelona and Steve Barcelona. Interment followed at Millry Cemetery, Millry, AL. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL.
