Andrew Peek
DANIELSVILLE, Ga. - Andrew Peek, a resident of Danielsville, Ga., and grandson of two Mobile County couples, died Thursday at a hospital in Athens, Ga. He was 17.
Peek, an Iowa City, Iowa, native had lived in Madison County in Georgia for one year and was senior at Madison County High School. He also worked at Gant Clothing Store in Commerce, Ga.
He was a member of Danielsville Evangelical Methodist Church and Youth Group.
Survivors include his parents, the Rev. Timothy Stephen and Catherine Zirlott Peek of Danielsville; his paternal grandparents, the Rev. E.T. and Katie Ruth Peek of Bayou La Batre; and his maternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Juanita Zirlott of Coden.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Pruitte Funeral Home, 47 Franklin Springs St. in Royston, Ga. Services are set for 3 p.m. Sunday at Danielsville Evangelical Methodist Church, with viewing from 2:30 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Thelma Jones
Thelma Jones, a Chicago native and Mobile resident, died Monday. She was 93.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Bessie B. Phillips of Mobile, and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Christian Benevolent Funeral home, with services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Robert E. Riley
Robert Eugene Riley, a Mobile native and resident, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The U.S. Navy veteran and former employee of Courtaulds General Atomic Corp. in San Diego was 50.
He attended the University of Alabama as an honors student and graduated from Grossmont State College in San Diego.
He donated his body to the Anatomical Board of the State of Alabama for medical research and education.
Survivors include his son, Benjamin R. Rylee of Wales, England; his father, Robert C. Rylee of Saraland; his sister, Linda A. Dees of Spanish Fort; and his brother, Joseph W. Rylee of Lafayette, La.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday at Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church.
Memorials may be made to the Mobile Mental Health Center or a favorite charity.

Charles H. Switzer Jr.
Charles Henry Switzer Jr., a lifelong Grand Bay resident, died Friday. The U.S. Army veteran and former superintendent of the Grand Bay Water Works was 60.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Switzer; three daughters, Ricarda Manning, Antonia Ortiz and Kristy Switzer; two sons, Robert Switzer and Ryan Switzer; his mother, Rosa Lee Switzer; three sisters, Mary Louise Nicholson, Alice Eva Skutack and June Reaves; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay. Burial will be in Grand Bay Cemetery.

Olivia A. Yawn
Olivia Ann "Cannie" Yawn, a Mobile native and resident, died Thursday at a local hospital. She was 58.
She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Yawn of Mobile; four sons, Charles Yawn, Sam Yawn, Larry Yawn, and Toby Yawn, all of Mobile; three sisters, Joyce Dees, Edna Smith and Nellie Hudson, all of Mobile; one brother, Larry Canfield of Mobile; and 18 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Harry O. Hawkins
BIRMINGHAM - Harry Osborne Hawkins, a Birmingham resident, died Friday in a Birmingham hospital. He was 81.
Hawkins was president of Hawkins Israel Interiors in Birmingham until his retirement. He was a former president of the American Society of Interior Decorators, and received the Presidential Citation for his distinguished service with the Birmingham Chapter of ASID. He was a World War II veteran, having served as a cartographer in the U.S. Air Corps for five years.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Smithson Hawkins of Birmingham; three daughters, Ann Hawkins Luce of Mobile, Jane Hawkins Hoke of Birmingham and Harriet Hawkins Adams of Tuscaloosa; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Birmingham. Memorials may be made to The American Lung Association, 900 18th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35205, or St. Luke's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 3736 Montrose Road, Birmingham, AL 35213.

Bradley E. Collins
Infant Bradley Eugene Collins of Theodore died Friday at a local hospital.
The son of Raquel and Michael Collins also is survived by two brothers, Zachary E. and Jared C. Collins, and his grandparents - Jan and Gene Collins, and Julieta and John Hale.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to noon at Serenity Funeral Home, with graveside services to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
