A native of Rochester, NY and a resident of Mobile, AL for the past 51 years died in a local hospital on Monday, December 27, 1999. She is survived by her son, Mike (Gail) Knowles; daughter, Vikki (John) Ponder both of Mobile, AL; sister, Judy (Boots) Lang of Gulf Shores, AL; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Thursday, December 30, 1999 at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donald Berry officiating. C.P. "Jack" Tillman, Sr.:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died at a local hospital on Tuesday, December 28, 1999. He was a produce vendor for over thirty years in Downtown Mobile. He is survived by his wife of many years, Etta Mae Tillman of Mobile; children, Patricia (Bo) Gollotte of Irvington, AL, Beverly (Billy) Patteson of Moss Point, MS, Martha (Harold) Davis of Mobile, Sharon Platt of Escatawpa, MS and Paul (Rachel) Tillman of Mobile; brothers, Monkey Tillman, Edward Tillman, Warren Tillman, Wesley Tillman and Doody Tillman, all of Mobile; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 1999 at Radney Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 30, 1999 at 12 (noon) from Oak Park Church of God with interment in Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Theodore. A lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre died Saturday, December 25, 1999. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 10AM from St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Bayou La Batre. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 1PM officiated by Rev. Greg Williams, and Rev. Shawn Majors. Pallbearers were Robert Bolton, Raymond McRay, Jr., Ernest Sellers, Charles Skipworth, George Murrill, and John Smith. Rose Croix services were held in the chapel with Mobile Scottish Rite Bodies conducting the services with W.A. Atwood 33rd Degree Wise Master p residing. Full Masonic graveside services were conducted by Pentalpha Lodge #804 F&AM with M.E. Leachman 33rd Degree Past Grand Master conducting services. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Age 74, passed away December 24, 1999. Passed away Tuesday morning, January 28, 1999. Born September 8, 1926 to Hallie and Lizzie Brown in Theodore, AL and for most of her life resided in Coden, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman D. Zirlott. She is survived by five children, Daniel Zirlott of Mobile, AL, Peggy (Billy) Walters of Mobile, AL, Mary (Marvin) Sumrall of Theodore, AL, Melanie (Chuck) Bolin of Stapleton, AL and Wayne Zirlott of Coden, AL; sixteen grandchildren, Danny, Timmy and Kristi Zirlott, Bill, Heather and Melissa Walters, Sarah, Sandy, John and Brandon McWhirter, Jason, Jarrod and Bo Bolin, Steve, Sharon and Robin Zirlott; six great-grandchildren, Cody and Cassie McWhirter, TJ., Joshua, Katie and Justin Zirlott; five brothers, Marion (Lallie) Brown, Marshall (Aline) Brown, Judson (Katie) Brown, Vester (Mildred) Brown, and Perry (Lorraine) Brown; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
