ANDERSON, Ind. - Callie J. Cress, a native of Grove Hill, Ala., died Thursday at her home. She was 49.
Mrs. Cress had lived in Anderson since 1985.
Survivors include her husband, Bascom "Bud" Cress of Anderson; one daughter, Callie Joyce Beeman of Anderson; two stepchildren, Tammy Farr of Elwood, Ind., and Steve Mills of Indianapolis; her mother, Clara Wilson of Anderson; four brothers; one sister; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home's South Chapel in Anderson.
The funeral is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, Ala. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson, Ala., directing.

Elder J.C. Mason
MOSS POINT, Miss. - Elder J.C. Mason, a retiree of International Paper Co., died Friday in a Mississippi hospital He was 73.
Mason, a native of Sunflower, Ala., was a resident of Moss Point.
An ordained elder, he was a member of Freewill Church of God Pentecostal in Moss Point.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Mason of Moss Point; three sisters, Mary Richardson and Nora Crear, both of Moss Point, and Della Mae James of Hollindale, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home in Moss Point is handling arrangements.

William H. Clague Jr.
CITRONELLE - William Henry Clague Jr., a Fruitdale native and Citronelle resident, died Saturday at his residence. The Navy veteran was 72.
He is survived by his wife, Florence D. Clague of Citronelle; one daughter, Billie Sue Fick of Leakesville, Miss.; two sisters, Margaret Rainwaters of Immokalle, Fla., and Beulah Rush of Mobile, and one brother, Earl Clague of Perry, Fla.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Citronelle. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Flora E. Holder
Flora Etta Holder, a Mobile native and resident, died Thursday at her home. She was 69.
Mrs. Holder was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Tamara Reichert of Winter Garden, Fla.; three sons, Jimmy Draime of Minneola, Fla., Richard Draime of Orlando, Fla., and Wesley Draime of Sanford, Fla.; four sisters, Pauline Ray and Juanita Kingsley, both of Mobile, Jeri Tuck of Westchester, Pa., and Lucia Vollenweiter of Downingtown, Pa.; three brothers, George Chavers of Irvington, Walter Chavers of Columbus, Ga., and Fred Chavers of Lucedale, Miss.; 12 grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity. Radney Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mozelle W. Mathieu
Mozelle Wyrosdic Mathieu, a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, died Friday at a local health care facility. She was 73.
Ms. Mathieu was a Brewton native and a Mobile resident.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Craig Mathieu of Fairhope and Roger Paul Mathieu of Ocean Springs, Miss.; three sisters, Lucille W. Bargsley and Ruby W. Havard, both of Mobile, and Ruth W. Gordon of Montrose; two brothers, Douglas D. Wyrosdic of Dothan and Samuel J. Wyrosdic of Mobile; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. today at Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

Lorene P. Simmons
Lorene Pope Simmons, a Cherokee County native and a resident of Mobile and Baldwin Counties for 58 years, died Friday at her home in Saraland. She was 77.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Spicer and Sue Sumrall, both of Saraland, and Nora Hammons of Toccoa, Ga.; four brothers, five sisters, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fairhope Memorial Gardens.

Percy M. Baggett
REPTON - Percy M. Baggett, a Repton resident, died Friday. He was 91.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Lou Baggett of Repton; two daughters, Alva B. Ivy of Repton and Emily Baggett of Mobile; one son, Dean C. Baggett of Repton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Springhill Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Springhill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.
