Henry L. Anderson Sr.
SARALAND - Henry L. Anderson Sr., a millwright who was retired from Atochem Inc., died Sunday at his Saraland home. He was 58.
Anderson was a member of Pentalpha Lodge No. 804, Scottish Rite Mobile Valley, Mobile York Rite Masonic Bodies, Abba Temple, Order of Quetzalcoatl, Abba Temple Motor Corps, Abba Temple Aides Unit, and Abba Treasurer Emeritus Uniform Units.
He is survived by his wife, Clarice Anderson of Saraland; two sons, Henry Anderson Jr. and Barry Anderson, both of Mobile; four sisters, Gloria Redmon of Biloxi, Miss., Patricia Ann Tilloha of Reno, Nev., Ruby Powe of Deer Park, Ala., and Linda Cloy of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, William Anderson of Mobile; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Services are set for noon Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Emma Lee Fowler
CHUNCHULA - Emma Lee Fowler, a native of Mobile who resided in Chunchula, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was 46.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Fowler of Chunchula; two sisters, Shirley Buckley of Chunchula and Mary Snowden of Waynesboro, Miss.; three brothers, Howard Moody of San Diego, Calif., George Moody of Wilmer and Thomas Murphy of Semmes.
Visitation will begin Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the family residence, 8995 Meadowbranch Lane in Chunchula. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Georgetown Cemetery.
Radney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Fred C. Hamilton
Fred Curtis Hamilton, a former boilermaker, died Friday in an automobile accident in Grand Bay.
Hamilton, 53, was a lifelong Grand Bay resident.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia DeMouey Hamilton; his mother, Oratha Sessions Odle; two sisters, Gloria Dooley and Lisa Walker, and a brother, Gary Wayne Hamilton, all of Grand Bay.
Services are set for 10 a.m. today at Cloverdale Baptist Church in Grand Bay, with burial at Grand Bay Community Cemetery.
Gilmer's Funeral Service in Mobile is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph L. Hamilton
Joseph L. Hamilton, a commercial painter, died Saturday at his Mobile residence. He was 53.
Hamilton, a Marine veteran, was a native of the Port City.
He is survived by three sons, Joseph Leon Hamilton II and Jeffery Hamilton, both of Houston, Texas, and Scott Hamilton of Mobile; four brothers, Jackie Hamilton of Mobile, Jimmy Hamilton and Charles Hamilton, both of Semmes, and Wayne Hamilton of Texas; two sisters, Althia Rutledge and Esther Neese, both of Semmes; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until services begin at 1 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Johnnie Howton, a native of Tuscaloosa who resided in Mobile, died Sunday at a local health care facility. He was 71.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Howton of Mobile; four daughters, Betty Workman, Janice Howton, Shelia Howton, Elaine Howton; three sons, Rickey Howton, Johnnie Ray Howton, Jimmy Howton; two sisters, Annie Bell Ammons and Mary Buckalew, three brothers, Lee Howton, Louis Howton and David Howton; 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Services are set for noon Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial at Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Patsy W. O'Neal
Patsy W. O'Neal, a native of Bastrop, La., who resided in Mobile, died Sunday at a local hospital. She was 65.
She is survived by her husband, Ottis G. O'Neal of Mobile; a daughter, Pennie Taylor of Mobile; two sons David Wike of Saraland and Paul Murrill of Mobile; a sister Shirley Baker of Mobile; a brother, Gary Stewart of Nashville, Tenn.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with services to follow. Burial will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Robert Lee Yates Sr.
Robert Lee Yates Sr., a former deacon with El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, died Wednesday at his Mobile residence.
Yates, 78, was a lifelong Mobilian.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Bumpers Yates; two daughters, Mary Yates Mack of Whippany, N.J., and Juanita Yates of Washington D.C.; eight sons, the Rev. Dr. Orlando Yates of Cincinnati, the Rev. Ronald Yates of Marietta, Ga., Dr. Donald Yates of Stillwater, Okla., the Rev. Maynard Yates of Dallas, the Rev. Bernard Yates of Pensacola, Fla., and Robert Yates Jr., Alvin Allen and the Rev. Jonathan Yates, all of Mobile; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 at El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, with services to follow. The funeral procession will leave the church at 10 a.m. Thursday, with burial at Gethsemane Cemetery.
