Sharon M. Young
Sharon M. Young, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and resident of Mobile, died Monday at her home.
Mrs. Young had lived in Mobile for the past 2 years. She formerly lived for 32 years in Panama City, Fla., where she was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn L. Young of Mobile; four children, Glenn D. Young, Norman A. Young and Laura Young, all of Mobile, and Paula G. Hesoun of Tallahassee, Fla.; her mother, Mamie Bullard of Fort Worth; one sister, Mamie Matthews of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City, where services are set for 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Panama City. Local arrangements are being handled by Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.

Gwendolyn Coover
REPTON - Gwendolyn Watford Coover, a homemaker and member of New Hope Community Chapel in Repton, died Sunday at her home. She was 63.
Mrs. Coover, a native of Monroe County, was a resident of Repton. She was a charter member of Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in Franklin, Ala. She attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Fla.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. J.F. "Dusty" Coover of Repton; two sons, David Brian Coover of Franklin and Jeffery Grant Coover of Birmingham; two daughters, Allison Gwen Kile of Birmingham and Wendy Felise Rigdon of Frisco City, Ala.; one brother, Woodrow Wilson Watford of Franklin; one sister, the Rev. Mary Watford Stabler of Franklin; and three grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in Franklin, with burial in Corinth-Deer Cemetery in Franklin. Monroe Chapel Funeral Home of Monroeville, is in charge of arrangements.

Ethan Cassity
Ethan Cassity, an infant, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Donna and Heath Cassity of Mobile; two sisters, Lisa Cassity and Jullia Cassity, both of Mobile; one brother, Cody Cassity of Mobile; and his grandparents, Jimmie Cassity, Sandra Cassity, Linda Warner and Donald Brock, all of Mobile.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. today in Mobile Memorial Gardens with Radney-Belmany Funeral Home on Grelot Road directing.

Daniel E. Gerald
IRVINGTON - Daniel Eugene Gerald, a commercial fisherman, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was 38.
Gerald was a lifelong resident of Mobile County.
Survivors include his wife, Pam B. Gerald of Irvington; one daughter, Ashley Gerald of Irvington; two sons, Michael Gerald and Randy Gerald; two sisters, Debra Thomas of Wilmer and Pattie Lose of Irvington; and one brother, Terry Shackelford of Mobile.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the Charles Haynes Masonic Lodge in Bayou La Batre, where services are set for 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, with Serenity Funeral Home directing.

Burie King
Burie King, a retired mechanic with the Alabama Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Co., died Saturday in Mobile. He was 89.
The Atmore native was a longtime resident of Mobile.
Survivors include his son, James W. King of Orlando, Fla.; four sisters, Clara Denham and Margie West of Mobile, Sarcarnealious Rice of Los Angeles and Mildred Weatherly of Long Island, N.Y.; one brother, James King of Mobile; and three grandchildren.
Viewing will be at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church No. 2 at 251 N. Lafayette Street on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, with Mosley Funeral Home of Prichard in charge.

Robert E. Parker
Robert E. Parker, a teacher, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was 66.
A native of Midway in Bullock County, Parker was a resident of Eight Mile.
He taught with the Mobile County Public School System and Faulkner Vocational School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Prichard.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Summers Parker; two daughters, Chandra Parker of Birmingham and Calondra Parker of Eight Mile; one son, Robert E. Parker II of St. Louis, Mo.; four sisters, Lizzie Robins of Middetown, R.I., Emma Hamilton of Gary, Ind., Mattie S. Walker and Rose L. Parker of East Chicago, Ind.; and one brother, Willie Parker of Detroit.
Arrangements will be announced by Reese Funeral Home of Prichard.

William O. Peak
William O. Peak, a retired state trooper, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 71.
A native of Crenshaw County, Peak lived in Mobile for more than 45 years. He was a state trooper for 30 years before retiring in 1981.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Evelyn W. Peak of Mobile; two children, Deborah P. Stewart and William T. "Tom" Peak, both of Mobile; one sister, Dorothy Peak Harrison of Galatin, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
Services are set for 1 p.m. today at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
