John Scruggs
John Scruggs, a retiree of International Paper Co., died Wednesday at a local convalescent center. He was 86.
Scruggs, a native of Clarke County, resided in Prichard and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include six children, John Scruggs Jr. of Coffeeville, Mary Garner and Eugene Scruggs, both of Chicago, Daisy Sellers and Johnnie T. Scruggs, both of Prichard, and Joseph Scruggs of Mobile; a sister, Hattie Slater of Coffeeville; a brother, F.T. Scruggs of Detroit; 30 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services begin, with burial at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery.
Johnson-Allen Mortuary is directing.

Wilda W. Jordan
LIVINGSTON, Ala. - Wilda Walker Jordan, a Livingston homemaker, died Tuesday at a hospital in York, Ala. She was 83.
Mrs. Jordan, an Alabama native, was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucille J. Hanson of Livingston; her sister, Norma Wilson of Grove Hill; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. today at Grove Hill Cemetery, with visitation at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill one hour prior to the services.

Eleanor Saulsberry Lee
Eleanor Saulsberry Lee, who had worked for Food World for 21 years, died Wednesday at her home.
Mrs. Lee, a resident of Mobile, was a parishioner Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was a 1968 graduate of Central High School.
Survivors include her son, Stacy Lee of Jacksonville, Fla.; her daughter, Jessica Lee of Mobile; her mother, Loeria Saulsberry of Mobile; her brother, Herbert Saulsberry; two sisters, Carolyn Saulsberry of Houston and Brenda Kidd of Mobile; and two grandsons.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Sunday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Charles E. Daniel Moon
Charles Edward Daniel Moon, a native of Satsuma and resident of Mobile, died Tuesday at his home. He was 27.
Survivors include his parents, Charles and Joyce Moon of Saraland; his grandmother, Anne Gilchrist of Summerdale; three sisters, Jacquelyn Kinard of Semmes, Charlotte Moore of Bay St. Louis, Miss., and Sharon McDaniel of Pascagoula, Miss.; and one brother, James Moon of Loxley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with services at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Craig M. Barber
A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church for Craig Martin Barber, who died Feb. 19. He was 40.
Visitation in the church's Fellowship Hall will follow services.
Barber, a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y., resided in Mobile.
Survivors include his parents, Alva H. and Mildred M. Barber of Mobile; a brother, Jeffrey G. Barber of Charlotte, N.C.; and a sister, Christine Olsen of Brockport, N.Y.

Ruby Hall Sangrouber
Ruby Hall Sangrouber, a Mobile resident of Mobile, died Thursday at her home. The former American Red Cross worker was 83.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Gechijian of Mobile and Peggy Nelson of Houston; one brother, William Hall and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. today at Magnolia Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Mercy Medical Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home in Mobile.

Tom Nathan Jones
Tom Nathan "Radio Red" Jones, a former employee of the Mobile Water Service for seven years, died Saturday at his home. He was 72.
Jones, a native of Theodore, was a resident of Mobile. He had also worked in pool construction for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris Jeffery Jones of Mobile; five children: Christina Jones Clarke and Leroy Jones, both of Detroit, Tom Nathan Jones Jr. of Sacramento, Calif., Franscella Jones Dees and Kathy Michelle Jones, both of Mobile; four stepchildren, Ann Jeffery and LeFloydd Munnerling, both of Mobile, Lorretta Jeffery of Birmingham and Josephine Jeffery of Long Beach, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private services are planned.
