EVERGREEN - Leonard Dean Harper, a resident of Evergreen, died Saturday in a Monroeville nursing home. He was 68.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harper of Evergreen; one son, Marcus Leonard Harper of Buena Vista, Ga.; one daughter, Jeannie Harper Gaskin of Evergreen; three sisters, Voncile Radford of Evergreen, Kate Smith and Inez Smith, both of Smiths; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen. Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen is handling arrangements.

Mary V. Meadows
LOS ANGELES - Mary V. Meadows, a native of Stockton and resident of Los Angeles, died Wednesday in a Baldwin County hospital. She was 59.
She is survived by her husband, George Meadows of Los Angeles; one son, David Meadows of Los Angeles; one daughter, Marilyn Meadows of Los Angeles; her mother, Mary Steven Bryars of Stockton; four brothers, Gaston Bryars of Los Angeles, Burrel Bryars Jr., Harry Bryars and Jim Bryars, all of Stockton; and one sister, Edith Gill of Harrisburg, N.C.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Triumph Holiness Church in Stockton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Robinson Cemetery in Stockton. Christian Benevolent Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Christine Clark
Christine Clark, a homemaker and resident of Mobile, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Clark, 72, was a native of Estes, Miss.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Maurice L. Clark; four daughters, Francis M. Eastwood of Mobile, Edker M. McCrory and Christy A. Lynn, both of Semmes, and Sallie M. Herndon of Spanish Fort; one son, George C. Fralic of Mobile; one stepdaughter, Beverly Gartman of Spanish Fort; one stepson, Danny Lloyd Clark of Spanish Fort; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Serenity Funeral Home with burial in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Alvin T. Hamilton
IRVINGTON - Alvin T. Hamilton, a machinist and life-long resident of Irvington, died Sunday. He was 36.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Dixon Hamilton; two daughters, Crystal and Jacqueline Hamilton; his parents, Alvin T. and Mary Hamilton; one brother, Kenny Hamilton; and two sisters, Alisa Dietz and Stephanie Hamilton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Serenity Funeral Home in Mobile. Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Frey Max Huggins
Frey Max Huggins, retired manager of Commercial Credit, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 74.
A native of Starlington, Ala., Huggins was a resident of Mobile.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Bratcher Huggins of Mobile; one brother, Paul P. Huggins of Georgiana, Ala.; and two stepchildren, Linda Bratcher McGuire and Joseph D. Bratcher Jr., both of Mobile.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway. Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Dorothy Dickinson
Dorothy Dickinson, a homemaker who attended New Home Missionary Baptist Church, died Monday at her home. She was 81.
Mrs. Dickinson was a native and resident of Citronelle.
Survivors include one son, Arvin Dickinson Jr. of Citronelle; one daughter, Emma Faye Fisk of Citronelle; one brother, Johnnie Brannan of Temple, Texas; two sisters, Helen Swann of Moss Point, Miss., and Mildred Thompson of Citronelle; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, where services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Deer Park Cemetery in Deer Park, Ala.

Lee Etta 'Mama Etta' Johnson
Lee Etta "Mama Etta" Johnson, a member of Mount Olive AME Church for more than 65 years, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was 84.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Uriah, Ala., resided in Saraland.
Survivors include seven children, Thomas Johnson Jr. and Umry Lee Johnson, both of Saraland, Mamie Armstead, Maxine Davis of Eight Mile, Helen Thornton and Bobby Johnson, both of Detroit, and Otis Johnson of Enterprise, Ala.; four brothers, Marzet Beasley of Hollandale, Fla., Charlie Beasley, Leroy Beasley and Walter Beasley, all of Pensacola; three sisters, Ethel Gray of Pensacola, Bama Barnes of Montgomery and Anner Ruth Dent of Baton Rouge, La.; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be after 9 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive AME Church in Creola with visitation from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services. Burial will be in Whistler Cemetery, with Christian Benevolent Funeral Home in charge.
