Thomas Nathan McCormick Sr.
Thomas Nathan McCormick Sr., a retired maintenance supervisor for International Paper Company, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 63.
McCormick, a lifelong Mobile resident, was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Chapter #4888.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra LaPane McCormick of Mobile; six children, Barbara Naman of Mobile, Thomas N. McCormick Jr. of Daphne, Linda Karen McCormick of Pascagoula, Miss., Matthew A. McCormick and Joan Marie Holland, both of Mobile, and Daniel Crist McCormick of California; his mother, Margaruitte Arns McCormick of Mobile; five brothers, Joseph Daniel McCormick Jr. of San Antonio, James Arthur McCormick Sr. of Semmes, Jerry McCormick, Paul O'Grady McCormick and Robert Dennis McCormick, all of Mobile; and six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in Pine Crest Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street is in charge of arrangements.

The Rev. James Meldrum O.C.D.
The Rev. James Meldrum O.C.D., a Detroit native and Mobile resident, died Friday. The Discalced Carmelite Monk and former chaplain of the Carmelite Monastery in Mobile was 85.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Furtah of Ruskin, Fla.; four brothers, John Meldrum of Warren, Mich., Kenneth Meldrum of Anchor, Mich., David Meldrum of Mesa, Ariz., and Robert Meldrum of St. Clair, Mich.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Little Sisters of the Poor. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church chapel. Burial will take place in Milwaukee. Arrangements are by Radney-Belmany Funeral Home.

Lela Mae Lee
TYLERTOWN, Miss. - Lela Mae Lee, a native of Camden, Ala., and a Grand Bay resident for many years, died March 14 in Tylertown. She was 101.
Mrs. Lee taught in the Old Grand Bay School during the early 1920s. She served the Grand Bay community as a church musician, Sunday School teacher, missionary worker and deaconess. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Heroines of Jericho.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral hour at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Grand Bay. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Grand Bay. Washington Funeral Home of Tylertown is in charge of arrangements.

James B. Bullen Sr.
James B. Bullen Sr., who retired as vice president of Frank R. Wade Inc. in 1987, died Sunday at a local hospital.
A native Mobilian, Bullen was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Roberta Ann Campanaro of Alpharetta, Ga., and Margaret Jane Mills of Terre Haute, Ind.; a son, James B. Bullen Jr. of Mobile; two sisters, Bessie Bullen and Caumelete Moore, both of Mobile; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow. Burial will be at Pine Crest Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities.
Pine Crest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ann W. Clancy
Ann W. Clancy, a native of Mississippi, died Saturday at her Saraland residence. She was 77.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Powell of Jackson, Suzanne Algernon of Chickasaw and Sheila Yeager of Creola; four sons, Danny Clancy of Mobile, Larry Clancy of Saraland, Gary Clancy of Satsuma and Mark Clancy of Saraland; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.

Mamie M. Gardner
BAYOU LA BATRE - Mamie M. Gardner, who attended First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre, died Sunday in a local hospital.
A native of Andalusia, Mrs. Gardner resided in Bayou La Batre for more than 80 years. She was a member of the Rebekah's and the War Mothers.
She is survived by two children, Joseph Gardner of Theodore and Dorothy Lancaster of Grand Bay; a brother, J.R. Johnston of Eight Mile; a sister, Nonie Clark of Bayou La Batre; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre. Services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Julian W. Hall Jr.
Julian W. "Yonnie" Hall Jr., a lifelong Mobile resident, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 40.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Kidd Hall; four daughters, Angelita Hall, Terrenda Hall, Michelle Hall and Marshea Hall, all of Mobile; a son, Julian W. Hall III of Mobile; four sisters, Judith Glaude, Gayle Heningburg, Kathleen Christian, all of Mobile, and Velma McConico of Marshall, Texas; and two brothers, Henry Hall of Atlanta and Spencer Hall of Mobile.
Viewing will be Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery.
