Jessie Mac Pharr
EIGHT MILE - Jessie Mac Pharr, an Eight Mile homemaker, died Thursday at her home. She was 78.
Mrs. Pharr was a native of Castleberry, Ala.
She is survived by her husband, O.W. Pharr of Eight Mile; a daughter, Ruby Dell Hallmark of Eight Mile; three sons, Bobby E. Pharr of Saraland, Gerald Wayne Pharr and Oscar Gary Pharr, both of Eight Mile; two sisters, Allie Hobbs and Joe Littles, both of Brewton; a brother, Ralph Burch of Brewton, 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home. Services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

Donald Sherman Sr.
Donald Joseph Sherman Sr., a canvas products sales manager, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 61.
Sherman was a lifelong Mobile resident.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Sherman of Mobile; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Sherman of Gulfport, Miss.; three sons, Donald J. Sherman Jr. and Robert B. Sherman, both of Mobile, and Richard D. Sherman of Kenner, La.; a stepson, Derek V. Loper of St. Stephens; two brothers, William Delmas of Naples, Fla., and Tryon D. Lippencott of Palm Bay, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, with services to follow. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Coffeville.

Milton R. Starling
SARALAND - Milton Ray Starling, a retired Mobile Fire Department worker, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 66.
Starling, who resided in Saraland, was a native of Louin, Miss. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Starling of Saraland, four daughters, Amy Lauren Starling of Saraland, Regina Starling Denton and Davina M. Starling, both of Mobile, and Rhonda M. Starling of Temple, Ark.; a son, Milton Ray Starling Jr. of Mobile; a brother, John H. Starling of Tupelo, Miss.; and four grandchildren.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland.

Betty Jean Still
SARALAND - Betty Jean Still, a lifelong resident of Saraland, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Still was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford J. Still of Saraland; two sons, Kenneth W. Still of Mobile and Clifford A. Still of Saraland; three sisters, Mildred White of Chickasaw, Lucille Centanni of Saraland and Ella Faire Sasser of Florida; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.

AXIS - Hunter L. Stringfellow, a resident of Axis, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 2.
He is survived by his parents, Brenda and Carl Stringfellow of Axis; a brother, John "Bo" Criswell of Eight Mile; three sisters, Shay Kelley of Axis, Shelley Kelley of Fairhope and Gina Notarangelo of Metairie, La.; paternal grandparents Mildred and Norman Stringfellow of Satsuma; maternal grandparents Ruby and Gennions "Junior" Busby of Creola; and maternal great-grandmother Bertie Jackson of Silas.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Graveside services are set for 3 p.m. at Creola Cemetery.

John A. Seabrook
John Alvin Seabrook, a lifelong Mississippian, died Sunday at a hospital in Waynesboro, Miss. He was 83.
He survived by his wife, Mildred Seabrook of State Line, Miss.; three sons, Gayle T. Seabrook of Chatom, Arvin M. Seabrook of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Rick Seabrook of State Line; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro. Viewing will be Tuesday at State Line Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until services begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be at State Line Cemetery.

Olivia Battles Bradley
Olivia Battles "Mickey" Bradley, 85, a lifelong Mobilian, died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Olivia Browe and Susie Cook of Mobile; two sons, James Bradley Jr. and John Bradley of Mobile; one sister, Morsetta B. Wilson of Mobile; 27 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, . Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
