Marie T. White
Marie Taylor White, a former Radney Funeral Home employee, died Sunday at a local nursing facility. She was 82.
A resident of Chickasaw, Mrs. White was a native of Bay Minette.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann W. Wilson of Saraland; a son, Jack White of Orange Beach; three sisters, Eunice Felter of Pine Grove, Hazel Strickland of Bay Minette and Annette Rider of Whitehouse Forks; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Services are set for 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bay Minette.

Etta B. McLellan
PINE HILL - Etta Barnette McLellan, a native and lifelong resident of Pine Hill, died Saturday at her home. She was 95.
Mrs. McLellan was a homemaker and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Essie Mae Cannon of Mobile.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Pine Hill Baptist Church, with visitation one hour before the service. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville is in charge of arrangements.

Melvin Bell Sr.
Melvin Bell Sr., a retiree of International Paper Co., died Sunday at a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Plateau for 76 years, Bell was a graduate of the Mobile County Training Academy.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Byrant Bell; one daughter, Barbara Bell; two sisters, Agnes Crenshaw and Geneva Runderson; two brothers, Willie Bell and Swep Bell.
Reese Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

Mary Jane Hardy
Mary Jane Hardy, who had worked in retail sales before retirement, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was 80.
Mrs. Hardy was a native of Cambridge, Ohio, and had lived in Mobile for the past six years.
Survivors include one son, Edwin Davis of Mobile; one stepson, Bill Davis of Cambridge; two sisters, Sarah Speer of Gulfport, and Margaret Williams of Hemet, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Crest West Cemetery.

J.R. Lott
J.R. Lott, a retired security policeman, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Lott, 67, was a native and resident of Chunchula. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam.
He attended Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Ala.
Survivors include his wife, Lois C. Lott of Chunchula; two sons, Dewey L. Caylor of Citronelle and Justin R. Lott Sr. of Chunchula; two daughters, Debbie Lott and Angie L. Smith, both of Chunchula; two brothers, J.C. Lott of Chunchula and Frank Lott of Citronelle; four sisters, Myrtle Lott of Mobile, Pauline Cantey of Atlanta, Miriam Blackburn of Silverhill, Ala., and Voncile Robinson of Atwater, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, with burial in Gulfcrest Cemetery in Gulfcrest, Ala.

Elver R. Callaway
LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Elver R. Callaway, a native of Orange Beach, Ala., and a resident of Las Vegas, died March 29 in a Las Vegas hospital. He was 81.
A longtime resident of Mobile, he attended Spring Hill College and graduated from Alabama Polytechnical Institute (now Auburn University).
He is survived by one son, Rix Callaway of Redding, Calif.; one daughter, Christine Callaway of Carson City, Nev.
Services were held in San Diego, followed by burial at sea.
Nevada Funeral Home in Las Vegas handled arrangements.

Stephen D. Brown
Stephen Davidson Brown, a retiree from Ideal Cement Co., died Monday at a local health care facility. He was 81.
A resident of Eight Mile for the past 17 years, Brown was a native of Fountain, Ala., in Monroe County.
He was a member of Kushla Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Brantley Brown of Eight Mile; one son, Steve Brown of Saraland; one daughter, Gayle A. Brown Hardy of Theodore; one sister, Leona Ryal of Mobile; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
