OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. - Sarah Hatcher, a native of Moss Point, Miss., who resided in Ocean Springs, died Sunday. She was 97.
Mrs. Hatcher was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Biloxi.
Survivors include her sister, Bessie Williams of Chicago, and her caregiver, Almatine Abston of Ocean Springs.
Services are set for 7 tonight at New Bethel Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mobile.
Richmond Funeral Home, 189 Main St. in Biloxi, is handling arrangements.

Patricia E. Burroughs
Patricia E. Burroughs, a longtime Mobile resident, died April 6 at a local hospital. Services were April 8.

Carlton H. Gibbons
Carlton H. Gibbons, a retired truck driver, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 74.
Gibbons, a native of Brewton, Ala., was a resident of Saraland and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jordan Gibbons of Saraland; his children, James Carlton Gibbons of Mobile and Tommy Mallahan of Satsuma; one sister, Margaret Nugent of Saraland; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with services at noon Monday. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Thomas T. Zieman Sr.
Thomas Troy Zieman Sr., owner and president of L.A. Zieman and Co., died Thursday at a local hospital.
Zieman, 90, served on the Downtown United Board of Mobile. He was a member of the Rotary Club.
The lifelong Mobilian attended Spring Hill High School and Loyola University.
He was a parishioner of Little Flower Catholic Church.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Troy Zieman Jr.; his brother, Edward Harris Zieman; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. today at Little Flower Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway is in charge of arrangements.

Gary Wayne McKleroy
Gary Wayne McKleroy, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, died Thursday at the age of 40.
The Anniston, Ala., native was a longtime Mobile resident.
Survivors include his wife, Ann M. McKleroy of Mobile; four children, Audie Cash, Christiann Cash and Emily-Marie Agnes McKleroy, all of Mobile, and Roberta Horn of Bessemer, Ala.; one sister, Mary Lee Owens of Mobile; one brother, Billy McKleroy of Mobile; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Radney-Belmany Funeral Home on Grelot Road, with the rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.

Donald D. Johnson Sr.
PASCAGOULA - Donald David Johnson Sr., a veteran of the U.S. Army, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 52.
The Pascagoula resident was a native Mobilian.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hamilton Johnson of Pascagoula; one son, Donald David Johnson Jr. of Pascagoula; two daughters, Donna Kaye Johnson and Tiffany Michelle Johnson, both of Pascagoula; his father, Herman P. Johnson of Grand Bay; his mother, Laurie C. Browning of Mobile; four brothers, Herman P. Johnson Jr., Terrance M. Johnson and Wilton D. Johnson, all of Mobile, and Neal H. Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one sister, Nancy Van Hoose of Jacksonville, Fla.
Services were Friday at Serenity Funeral Home. Burial was in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Elsie C. Middaugh
PENSACOLA - Elsie C. Middaugh, mother of a former Mobile resident, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was 85.
A native of Bellefountain, Ohio, Mrs. Middaugh grew up in Jackson, Mich. She then lived in Washington, D.C., for 48 years and was a Pensacola resident since 1984.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally M. Bernstein of Cashiers, N.C., and Damaris M. Elmore of Pensacola and formerly of Mobile; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is set for 4:30 p.m. today at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Sacred Heart Hospital or the American Heart Association.
