Jerline Green, a Waco, Texas, native and Mobile resident, died April 21 at a local hospital. She was 60.
She is survived by a son, Paul J. Green Jr. of Eight Mile, and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home, with services to follow. Burial will in Gethsemane Cemetery North in Eight Mile.

Marcus V. Harris
Marcus Velpo Harris, a native of Decatur, Miss., and resident of Mobile, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 96.
He was a master Mason in the Decatur Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell T. Harris of Saraland; one son, Marcus T. Harris of Saraland; one sister, Jewell Chapman of Newton, Miss.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at O.C. Barham Funeral Home in Newton, Miss. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery in Mississippi.
Local funeral arrangements were handled by Radney Funeral Home.

Beulah Mae Tucker
Beulah Mae Crayton Tucker, a native of Camden, Ala., and resident of Mobile, died Saturday at local hospital.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, Shirley Knight and Winston Moore of Mobile; one brother, Clarence Crayton of Mobile; three sisters, Lillian Walker, Dorothy Whistenhunt and Hughlyn Bradley of Mobile; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, and after 9 a.m. Friday at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Audrey Hawkshead
COLUMBUS, Ga. - Audrey Lee Huff Hawkshead, a native of Quitman, Miss., longtime resident of Mobile and resident of Columbus, died Tuesday.
Mrs. Hawkshead was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Hawkshead White of Columbus; two sisters, Ruth Farnell of Mobile and Mary E. Reynolds of Fairhope; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Radney Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Margaret A. Holder
Margaret Alice Holder, who had retired after 30 years as a teacher in the Mobile County Public School System, died Monday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Holder, a lifelong resident of Whistler, earned her bachelor's degree at Spellman College in Atlanta and her master's degree at Tuskegee Institute. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Pilgrim Rest AME Zion Church in Whistler.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth G. Reddick of Whistler.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at Pilgrim Rest AME Zion Church. Services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at Whistler Cemetery.

Tiny Kate O'Herron
Tiny Kate O'Herron, a member of Myers Memorial Baptist Church of Eight Mile, died Wednesday at a local health care facility.
Mrs. O'Herron, 90, was a native of Billingsley and a longtime resident of the Mobile area. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Charles R. Dopson of Satsuma; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Services are set for 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.

Birdie Lee Sims
Birdie Lee Sims, a member of St. Louis Street Missionary Baptist Church, died Tuesday at a local hospital. She was 78.
Ms. Sims, who resided in Mobile, was a native of Bladon Springs, Ala.
She is survived by six nieces, Nannie Bell Moore of Mobile, Bernice Wash and Barbara Ann Johnson, both of Milwaukee, Classie Mae Raine of Millry, Barbara Jean Wilson and Elaine Wilson, both of Los Angeles; and four nephews, Curtis Daniels of Canton, Ohio, L.C. Daniels of Milwaukee; Arthella Danials of Banning, Calif., and Warren Wilson of Jackson.
Viewing will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Louis Street Missionary Baptist Church, with services to follow. Burial will be at Pine Crest Cemetery.
