Ronald Earl Reynolds
Ronald Earl Reynolds, a native of Quitman, Miss., and resident of Mobile, died Thursday in a local hospital. He was 51.
Reynolds was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Lavay Reynolds of Tyler, Texas, Lavon Reynolds of Bay Springs, Miss., and Ronnie Reynolds of Laurel, Miss.; his mother, Virginia Wilkins of Wilmer; two brothers, Mitchell Wilkins of Citronelle and Mack Wilkins of Wilmer; two sisters, Mary Elliot of Fairhope and Angie Walker of Semmes; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Graveside services and interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Sadie Hare Douglas
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Sadie Hare Douglas, a native of Chilton, and resident of Fort Myers, died April 27. She was 91.
Mrs. Douglas, a homemaker, was a member of Grove Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Harold Douglas of Fort Myers; one sister, Fannie Lambert of Chilton; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.

Tom Armstrong Sr.
SANDY RIDGE, Ala. - Tom Armstrong Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Sandy Ridge, died Wednesday at his sister's residence in Mobile.
He is survived by seven children, Bertha Kelley and Loretta Flynn of Montgomery, Tom Armstrong Jr., Joe Armstrong, Sherry Armstrong and Teneather Sankey of Lapine, Ala., and Joyce Williams of Haynesville, Ala.; and their mother, Dimple Mae Armstrong of Lapine; two sisters, Katie Russell of Mobile and Mary Quinn of Birmingham; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home in Mobile. A cortege will leave the funeral home at 9 a.m. Sunday for services to be held at 1 p.m. at Beautiful Zion AME Zion Church in Sandy Ridge. Burial will be in the Camp Ground Cemetery in Sandy Ridge.

Cruse W. Greer
WILMER - Cruse W. Greer, a Uriah native and a Wilmer resident, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 82.
Greer, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was retired from International Paper Company. He was a former resident of Citronelle and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by three children, Marjorie Greer Goodman of Wilmer, Don Greer of Purvis, Miss., and Mitchell Greer of Norfolk, Va.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Old Whistler Cemetery.

Virginia N. Moore
Virginia Newburn Moore, a native and lifelong resident of the Mobile area, died Thursday at a local hospital. She was 86.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Johnson of Fairhope; one son, Oscar A. Moore Jr. of Gaffney, S.C.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family is planning private services. Radney Funeral Home in Saraland is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas H. Landon
EVERGREEN - Thomas Howard Landon, a Conecuh County native and an Evergreen resident, died Friday at his home. He was 76.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Bland Landon of Evergreen; two sons, Sonny Landon of Monroeville and Asa Landon of Evergreen; one daughter, Sheryl Hodge of Mobile; one sister, Reba Cockrell of Mobile; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen. Burial will be in Old Town Cemetery.

Homer D. Byrd
SEMMES - Homer Desmay Byrd, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 75.
Byrd, who was a native of Neely, Miss., resided in Semmes for 54 years. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 653, for 53 years. He held memberships in J.H. McCormick Lodge 874, Scottish Rite Bodies, Abba Shrine Temple, VFW Post 49 and the National Association of Civilian Conservation Corps Alumni.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra B. Smith of Semmes and Susan B. Smith of Mobile; two stepdaughters, Linda McGowin of Mobile and Sandra Presslar of Mobile; six grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
