Leonal Schreiner Sr.
Leonal "Leon" Schreiner Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Monday at his residence. He was 71.
Schreiner was a retired security agent with the Gordon Oaks Retirement Center and an employee of the Mobile International Speedway for many years. He was also a World War II veteran.
Schreiner is survived by his children, Leonal G.C. "Butch" Schreiner Jr., Bill E. Schreiner Sr., Clinton E. Schreiner, Sharron Marie Reynolds, Donald Ray Schreiner, Shirley Ann Schreiner, Richard T. Schreiner and Robert A. Schreiner; 10 brothers and sisters, Betty Bonner, Dorothy Neese, Grace Cross, Jack Schreiner, Ruby May Hudleston, Jimmy Schreiner, Gerald Schreiner, Geraldine Peacock, William Schreiner and Faith Stewart; 20 grandchildren; and 6 great-granchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Serenity Funeral Home, with services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Ann H. Shettlesworth
Ann H. Shettlesworth, a resident of Mobile and formerly of Birmingham, died Tuesday. She was 80.
Mrs. Shettlesworth was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Birmingham and attended the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church in Mobile. She was retired from Browdy's Delicatessen.
She is survived by one son, David Shettlesworth of Mobile; several sisters and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Charles C. Eaton
Charles Clark "Charlie" Eaton, who formerly worked for many years with Ford Motor Co. in Detroit, died Monday at a local hospital after an illness. He was 53.
A native Mobilian, Eaton resided in Prichard and was a member of Truelight Missionary Baptist Church, where he had been active with the Sunday school.
He was a 1965 graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School.
Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Eaton of Prichard; two daughters, Monica L. Eaton and Anitra C. Eaton, both of Detroit; three stepchildren, Reginald Bassett of Earlin, Texas, Annette Bassett and Amanda Bassett, both of Prichard; seven siblings, Jessie E. Davison of Prichard, Albert Eaton of Los Angeles, Walter A. Eaton and Willie Ann Eaton, both of Prichard, Deloris E. Edwards and the Rev. Vincent E. Eaton, both of Mobile, and the Rev. Anthony F. Eaton of Raleigh, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
The wake will be at Truelight Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 Main St., in Prichard on Saturday from 9 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Whispering Pines Cemetery.

Juanita Freeman
Juanita Freeman, a Mobile homemaker and a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church, died Tuesday at a local hospital. She was 69.
Mrs. Freeman was a native of Jonesboro, Ill.
Survivors include two daughters, Mona Wade of Mobile and Victoria Carlton of Chattanooga, Tenn.; five sons, George Freeman of Dongola, Ill., Alfred Freeman, Arnold Freeman and John Freeman, all of Mobile, and Timothy Freeman of Tampa, Fla.; six siblings, Betty Dillow, Mary Lou Lang, Alma Olsterholme, James Dillow, William Dillow and Kenneth Dillow, all of Anna, Ill.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street today from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A graveside service is set for 10 a.m. today at National Cemetery on Virginia Street.

Jasper W. Green
MOUNT VERNON - Jasper William Green, a retired aircraft engineer at Brookley Field, died Tuesday at his Mount Vernon residence. He was 84.
A native of Thomaston, Ala., Green was a member of Joe Southall Lodge No. 905 F&AM. He attended Lockler Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Dr. W. Rodgers Green of Mobile; his daughter, Elizabeth Faye Lee of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Arthur C. Green of Chickasaw and J.T. Green of Mount Vernon; a sister, Christine Barnett of Mount Vernon; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until services start at 11 a.m., with burial at Methodist Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle is in charge of arrangements.

Louise E. Roberts
Louise E. Roberts, a retired licensed practical nurse, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was 73.
Mrs. Roberts, a native of Ovette, Miss., had resided in Mobile for 48 years. She retired from Mobile Infirmary Medical Center after 19 years.
She was a member of Hollinger's Island Baptist Church, and she was a charter member and past worthy matron of Loop Chapter No. 494 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda R. Hodges of Theodore; two sons, Thomas M. Roberts Jr. and James C. Roberts, both of Mobile; and three granddaughters.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.

Charles G. Tinnea
Charles Gail Tinnea, a retired oil refinery iron worker and supervisor, died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was 82.
Tinnea, a native of Illinois, was a longtime Theodore resident. He was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth V. Tinnea of Theodore; and two stepsons, Mike Harris of Grand Bay and Ronnie Harris of Theodore.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, where services are set for noon Friday. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
