LAKELAND, Fla. - Patrick Francis Kelly Jr., a former resident of Grand Bay, died Saturday at his Lakeland residence.
Kelly, 68, had worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a native of Oakland, Calif., and had resided in Lakeland for the past eight years.
Survivors include six daughters, Alice L. Ricciardo of Lakeland, Diana S. Prescott and Mary E. Lollar, both of Grand Bay, Barbara K. Murray of Iowa, Patricia K. Adams of St. Mary's, Ga., and Sandra A. Simms of Sacramento; three sons, John W. Kelly and Michael Simms, both of Grand Bay, and Patrick M. Kelly of Chickasaw; a brother, Jon Kelly of California; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be at Lakeland Funeral Home in Lakeland on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m.

Edith I. Parks
OAKLAND, Calif. - Edith Ingram Parks, a former resident of Mobile, died Friday at an Oakland hospital after a battle with cancer. She was 57.
The Oakland resident was a native of Gulfport, where she was a graduate of 33rd High School.
Mrs. Parks worked as a home nurse and was a member of the Regina Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Parks and Saul Taylor, both of Oakland; two brothers, L.C. Ingram of Termo, Calif., and Riemann Ingram of Sacramento; and a sister, Jeanette Parker of Payton, Colo.
No services are planned. Fuller Funeral Home, 4647 E. 14th St. in Oakland, handled arrangements.

John S. Blakeney
John Steven Blakeney, who worked as a welder, died Friday at the age of 39.
Blakeney was a native Mobilian.
Survivors include one son, Kerry Blakeney; his parents, Fred and Mandy Blakeney of Mobile; and two brothers, Dale Blakeney of Wilmer and Jack Blakeney of Theodore.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. today in Springhill Memorial Gardens, with Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in charge of arrangements.

James M. Jones
James Melburn Jones, who had worked many years as a shipyard welder, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 77.
A native of Clarke County, Jones was a longtime resident of the Mobile area. He was a member of Kushla First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vera M. Jones of Eight Mile; four children, Donald "Sonny" Jones and Angie Stewart, both of Eight Mile, Nancy Cook of Saraland and Sandra Wimmer of Theodore; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Opal B. Litton
Opal Browning Litton, a native of Pontiac, Mich., and resident of Creola, died Sunday at her residence. She was 79.
Survivors include two sons, Samuel Litton and Nelson Litton; one brother, James Browning; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with graveside services at 2 p.m. in Creola Cemetery.

Olean D. Pugh
Olean Danley "Granny" Pugh, a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, died Monday at a local hospital. She was 81.
Mrs. Pugh was a native Mobilian and a resident of Saraland.
Survivors include three children, Vivian Pugh Turner of Eight Mile, and Earl Danley and Cecil Pugh, both of Mobile; one sister, Alice Montee of Mobile; two brothers, Andrew Jackson Danley of Panama City, Fla., and Roger Danley of Grand Bay; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with graveside services at 2 p.m. in Shady Grove Cemetery in Mobile.

Robert H. Tucker
Robert H. Tucker, a retired truck driver with Riley Stewart, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 61.
Tucker was a Lisman, Ala., native and a resident of Mobile.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby S. Tucker; four children, Richard Tucker, Geneva Fletcher, Annie Burrell and Dan Tucker, all of Mobile; his mother, Lucy K. Tucker of Lisman; five stepchildren, Andrew Smith, Debbie Sims, Janice Sims, Bernadette Daniels and Kimberly Tyson, all of Mobile; three sisters; three brothers; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Viewing will also be after 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark Christian Church, 616 Summerville St., with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
