Mrs. Coffman died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at Athens Convalescent Center. She was born June 23, 1909, in Limestone County, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Elkmont Church of Christ and owned and operated Coffman's Grocery in Elkmont with her late husband, Herman Coffman.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Layne Coffman Catalfamo of Elkmont; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary "Pete" Brock, Jerry Smith, Thomas Killen, Gary Daly, Chris Paysinger, Carlos "Bubba" Broadway Jr. and Noble Daly.

Mr. House died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. He was a retired teacher from Clements High School.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine House; one son, Alvin House of Athens; two daughters, Gwendolyn Warren Sterling of Decatur and Pamelyn House Malone of Athens; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Payne died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at Hanceville Nursing Home. He was born May 3, 1931, in Huntsville. He served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years as a ship secretary and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Fielding Payne; three sons, Jack Lee Payne Jr., Samuel Payne and Michael Payne, all of Guntersville; two daughters, Rosana Holmes of Guntersville and Deborah Seibenhenner of Geraldine; one stepdaughter, Gearita Campbell of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Eddie Crook of Decatur; one daughter, Dora Waters of Decatur; four sisters, Frances Speer of Huntsville, and Eloise Parks, Faye Smart and Bobbie Hovis, all of Decatur; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three brothers, Melton Grant of Panama City, Fla., Vernon Grant of Falkville and J.W. Grant of Falkville; and two sisters, Tressie Caver and Ruby Howard, both of Falkville.

He is survived by his wife, Cleo Newman; nine stepsons, Windell Siniard, George Siniard, Larry Siniard, Tim Siniard and David Siniard, all of Athens, Jimmy Siniard and Vance Siniard, both of Toledo, Ohio, Edward Siniard of Huntsville and Ronnie Siniard of Fort Myers, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Linda Patterson and Angelina Siniard, both of Athens; and two sisters, Mildred Beddingfield and Lucille Ridinger, both of Athens.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Pittman Wales; two sons, Seybourne Wales and Grant Wales, both of Elkmont; two daughters, Linda Smith of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Chrystal Jones of Elkmont; three sisters, Bessie Hastings of Ardmore, Ruby Troupe and Maurine Tillery, both of Elkmont; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Webb died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at Big Springs Specialty Care Center in Huntsville. He was born Oct. 30, 1920, in Meigs County, Tenn., to Henry and Hattie Cooley Webb. He was retired from NASA's Quality Control Department, and was a U.S. Army and U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He also was a member of Stateline Church of Christ. His niece, Judy Suiter, lives in Athens.
He is survived by one sister, Hazel Cordrey of Urbana, Ohio.
