Mrs. Bridgeforth died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She was born Aug. 22, 1953, in Lawrence County. She was a supervisor of family and children services in Limestone County for the state Department of Human Resources. She was a 1971 graduate of Courtland High School. She received a bachelor's degree in sociology and correction from Florida A&M University in 1975. She received a master's degree in social work from Atlanta University in 1977. She was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church in Tanner.
She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Bridgeforth Sr.; one daughter, Jessica Elizabeth Bridgeforth of Tanner; two stepsons, Mitchell Bridgeforth Jr. of San Diego and Eric Bridgeforth of Jacksonville; one stepdaughter, Erika Bridgeforth of Nashville; her mother, Hortense Miller of Hillsboro; her father, Elm Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Charles Miller, Carl Miller and Jerome Miller, all of Hillsboro; four sisters, Mattie Birt and Jennifer Miller, both of Hillsboro, Cynthia Johnson of Decatur and Carolyn Reese of Cleveland.

Funeral for Verlie Pinkus Bynum, 77, of Hartselle will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Thomas II officiating and Reynolds Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Hartselle Cemetery.
Mr. Bynum died Aug. 11, 1999, at his residence. He was born April 18, 1922, in Morgan County to Isaac Bynum and Elizabeth Orr Bynum.
He was a member of Hartselle Missionary Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by one brother, Watson Bynum of Huntsville; four sisters, Mindy Bynum, Berta Bynum, Evelyn Orr and Audrey Warren, all of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be William H. Bynum, Lester Byars, Charles E. Ratliff, William C. Ratliff, Billy McLin, Dewayne Bates, Tim Crumbough and Billy D. Bynum.

Mrs. Dotson died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, in Huntsville. She was a Decatur native and retired from Civil Service.
She is survived by her husband, James Dotson; one son, Henry H. Perkins III of Huntsville; two daughters, Christy Perkins and Karen Perkins Norton, both of Huntsville; three stepsons, James Scott Dotson of Eva, Greg Dotson of Atlanta and Brian Dotson of Huntsville; three stepdaughters, Debra Stacey and Janet Ford, both of Huntsville, and Carolyn Cleland of Arab; two brothers, Horace Narmore and Bob Narmore, both of Decatur; three grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Maner died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, in Shreveport. She was born Aug. 21, 1912, in Decatur to James and Sarah Garrison Riddle. She was a homemaker and the widow of William Maner.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Maner; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
David Monroe McKee Jr.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for David Monroe McKee Jr., 80, of Hartselle will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Beam officiating.
Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mr. McKee died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Decatur. He was born April 16, 1919, in Morgan County, to David Monroe McKee Sr. and Minnie Lee Livingston McKee. He was a 37-year member of the United Church of God, a member of Woodmen of the World and American Legion Post No. 15 in Decatur. He served twice in the Army during World War II in Company F, 121st Infantry and in Company I, 20th Infantry. He was a marksman rifleman serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He retired from Baker Industries. He was the brother of the late Auburn McKee.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Hudgins McKee; two sons, James D. McKee of Hartselle and Eugene L. McKee of Speake; one daughter, Helen Ransom of Hartselle; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ransom, Nathan Steele, Dwight Kinney, Raymond Stinson, Steve Childers and Roland McKee.
Leo Clifford Patton

Mr. Patton died Aug. 11, 1999, at his residence. He was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Limestone County to the Rev. Bobby Patton and Leona Matthews Patton. He was a member of Mount Zion CP Church and sang with the Silvertones.
He is survived by one brother, John Patton of Madison.
Nephews will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Wallace died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Morgan County, to Dan W. Sims and Sallie Mae Swindell Sims. She was a homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bluitt Wallace of Hartselle; one son, James David Wallace of Hartselle; one daughter, Mamie Dianne Wallace of St. Francisville, La.; one brother, Alfred Sims of Anderson; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Rollins, Steven Rollins, Mark Sims, Lynn Sims, Ray Johnson and Scotty Lovelady.

Mr. Aycock died today, Aug. 19, 1999, at his home. He was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Limestone County, where he was a lifelong resident. He was retired and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Aycock; one son, Jerry Wayne Aycock of Athens; three daughters, Connie Aycock and Jealyn Swaim, both of Athens, and LaDon Aycock of Nashville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Buel Clem, Alton Nix, Marvin Ruf, Herbert Miller, Tony Pylant and Dennis Richardson.

Mrs. Bain died today, Aug. 19, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was born July 20, 1903, in Cullman to Mary Hudgins and Jesse Dawson Buchanan. She was a retired civil service employee and a member of Decatur Pilot Club, American Legion Auxiliary and First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
She is survived by nephews and nieces.
