Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Lindsey died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at his home. He was born March 24, 1933, in Lawrence County to Paul and Verna Lindsey. He was a farmer, a member of Enon Baptist Church in Danville and retired after 30 years at 3M Co. as a chemical operator.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lindsey; four sons, Wayne Lindsey and Jimmy Lindsey, both of Danville, Mike Lindsey of Hartselle and Ronnie Lindsey of Moulton; two daughters, Annette Riggs of Hartselle and Pat Payne of Moulton; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Riggs, Chris Lindsey, Todd Payne, Matthew Steadman, Archie Fields and Bill Hearod.
Friends from Five Points Store will be honorary pallbearers.
John William McCulloch Jr.
67, U.S. Army retiree
Funeral for John William McCulloch Jr., 67, of Birmingham will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Shubert officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. McCulloch died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. He was born Aug. 18, 1932, in Etowah County. He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service, including the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandi Kay McCulloch of Moody; one brother, Kenneth McCulloch of Decatur; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Shew, Hunter McCulloch, Chris McCulloch, Clifford McCulloch, Scott McCulloch and Blake Barbin.
Great-nephews will be honorary pallbearers.
Riller Harris Tankson

TUSCUMBIA -- Funeral for Riller Harris Tankson, 81, of North Courtland will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church with Thompson and Son Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Courtland City Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Tankson died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at her home. She was born Aug. 7, 1918, in Lawrence County to Johnnie and Trullie Harris. She was a member of North Star Chapter No. 55 of the Order of Eastern Star and First Missionary Baptist Church in Courtland, where she served on the mothers' board.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Tankson; one son, David Garner of Hillsboro; one stepdaughter, Della Green of Jacksonville, Miss.; one sister, Itlean Orr of Courtland; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Tapscott died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Jefferson County to Hershal and Anita Teresa Leach. She was a homemaker and a member of Eagle's Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Herbert E. Tapscott of Hartselle and Frank L. Tapscott of Decatur; one brother, Tom Leach of Hoover; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one brother, J.D. "Buddy" Prince of Decatur; and one sister, Mary Alice Sylvester of Ardmore.

Mrs. Chisholm died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1909, in Wheeler, Miss. A resident of Limestone County for 61 years, she was a retired food-service supervisor and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of John C. Chisholm.
She is survived by two sons, Johnnie W. Chisholm and David. H. Chisholm, both of Athens; one daughter, Sharon Shelton of Coker; one sister, Edith Harrison of Lester; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Curry died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at his home. He was born April 22, 1938, in Limestone County. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church and was a maintenance worker for the city of Athens.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Curry; three sons, Tim Turner of Cullman, Darren Curry of Blanche, Tenn., and Morris Curry Jr. of Elkmont; three daughters, Patsy Pylant, Tina Adams, both of Elkmont, and Tammy Mitchell of Blanche; one brother, J.B. Curry of Prospect, Tenn.; one sister, Esmer Mitchell of Taft, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Embry died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Limestone Health Facility. She was born Oct. 2, 1907, in Lauderdale County. She was a member of Rogersville Church of Christ, a homemaker, the widow of Chester Embry and mother of the late O'Neal Embry and Grace Embry.
She is survived by three sons, Franklin Embry of Abiline, Texas, and Dallas Embry and Jimmy Embry, both of Rogersville; one daughter, Annette Reeves of Old Hickory, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She retired from Sears and Roebuck Co. where she worked 28 years as a payroll clerk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was the widow of Elbert Lingerfelt.
She is survived by three brothers, James Blair of Trinity, Richard Blair of Muncie, Ind., and Walter Blair of Jamestown, Tenn.; three sisters, Frances Hinds of Lynchburg, Va., Janie Conatser and Nancy Brooks, both of Jamestown, Tenn.
Pallbearers will Jefrey Blair, Allen Blair, Edward Rhodes, Gary Wilhite, Willard Burt, and George Nancarrow.
