Mrs. Hobbie died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at her home. She was born Nov. 5, 1915, in Morgan County to James A. and Martha Lou Pope Moss. She was a dietitian at Hartselle Medical Center and a member of Moss Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Tommy Hobbie of Cullman; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Weaver, Ray Collins, Mike Sparkman, Jerry Hobbie, Tommy Hobbie Jr. and Bobby Joe Proctor.

Mrs. Hogan died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Feb. 24, 1913, in Morgan County to William C. and Mary Bell Kirkpatrick. She was a lifelong resident of Morgan County and a retired office manager for Liberty National Life Insurance. She was the widow of Dewey D. Hogan and the mother of the late Hal Hogan.
She is survived by one son, David B. Hogan of Destin, Fla.; two daughters, Cindy H. Ward of Danville and Carol Hancock of Atlanta; one brother, John D. Kirkpatrick of Destin; one sister, Elnora Kirkpatrick of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jay Hancock, Kirk Hancock, Craig Hogan, Jeff Hogan, Mike Hogan, Steve Hogan and Wes Ward.
Alice Witty Malone

ATHENS -- Funeral for Alice Witty Malone, 84, of Athens was to be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Tim Murray and Charles Gray officiating.
Burial was to be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Malone died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Limestone County to John and Malissie Green haw Mitchell. She was a member of Jennings Chapel Church of Christ and worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Decatur for 19 years. She was the widow of Bill Malone, and they were well known in Limestone County for growing and selling vegetables. She also was the widow of her first husband, Burtice Griffin.
She is survived by nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Malone, Brad Malone, J.W. McKinney, Ronald Mitchell, Tommie Smith Jr. and Jeff McKinney.

Mrs. Rollins died Monday, March 13, 2000, at her home. She was born July 1, 1948, in Eutaw to James H. and Nazarene Mayes Davis. She was a homemaker, a graduate of Eatman High School in Eutaw and a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Charlie Rollins of Decatur and Jeffrey Rollins of North Courtland; one daughter, Amber Rollins of Decatur; her parents of Decatur; three brothers, Grant Mayes of Ashdown, Ark., and Mike Davis and Ike Davis, both of Decatur; three sisters, Deborah Davis, Shirley Davis and Rachel Davis, all of Decatur; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Simms died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, in Huntsville. He was born June 12, 1929, in Huntsville. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and retired from Marshall Space Flight Center in 1985. He then worked as a consultant for center contractors. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Simms; two daughters, Debbie Bowerman and Belinda Burch, both of Moulton; three brothers, Bryson Simms of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Wayne Simms of Montgomery and Louie Simms of Warwick, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Stewart died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Duke University Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1926, in Norfolk, Va., to Milton Almer and Alie Rawlings Stewart. He was the founder of Tencarva Machinery Co. and an engineering graduate of Virginia Tech.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Crowell Stewart; two sons, W. Harrison Stewart Jr. of Green sboro and Matthew Palmer Stewart of Decatur; one daughter, Elizabeth Stewart Long of Atlanta; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Burns is survived by her husband, Walter Macon Burns; her parents, James Bryant Beauty Sr. and Jimmie Ann Beaty, both of Decatur; two brothers, James Bryant Beaty Jr. of Cordova, and Richard Beaty of Columbia, Tenn.

Mr. Freeman died Monday, March 6, 2000, at his home. He was born Nov. 23, 1935, in Birmingham, to Roy B. Freeman Sr. and Myrtle Brown Freeman.
He served as a Baptist minister for 40 years at the following churches: Hillsboro, Robinwood, Lincoln Memorial, Shady Grove, Shoal Creek and West Highland. He served in evangelism for five years. He was the brother of the late Bill Freeman and Roy Freeman Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Corum Freeman; two daughters, Lee Ann Freeman Jennings of Lacey's Spring and Heather Freeman Breedlove of Athens; and one brother, Bob Freeman of Auburn.

He is survived by his wife, Della Othera "Bobbie" Lee Jones; two sons, Roger Jones of Cullman and Jerry Jones of Baldwin; one daughter, Bobbie Denise Brown of Cullman; two brothers, Doyel Jones of Vinemont and Anthony Jones of Cullman; two sisters, Oneida Ennis of Decatur and Virginia Knop of Beech Grove, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.
