HILLSBORO -- Memorial service for Eugene Cross, 80, of Oklahoma City, Okla., will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hillsboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Smith and the Rev. Bill Redding officiating.
Mr. Cross died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Oklahoma City. He was born March 28, 1920, in Lawrence County to John Henry Cross and Vera Moran Cross. He was retired from Wolverine Tube Inc., where he worked for more than 30 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Decatur and served as a deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. After he moved to Oklahoma in 1990, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Edmond, Okla. He was the brother of the late Paul Cross and Lacey Cross and stepbrother of the late Paul Waldrep.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Cross; three sons, Steve Cross, David Cross and Andy Cross, all of Oklahoma; one daughter, Beth Hammons of Oklahoma; his stepmother, Lennie Cross of Leighton; one brother, the Rev. Enos Cross of Decatur; two stepbrothers, Silas Waldrep of Hatton and Linnes Waldrep of Decatur; two sisters, Stella Moss of Muscle Shoals and Katherine Flannagin of Leighton; one stepsister, Sue Gargis of Leighton; and eight grandchildren.
Louie G. Key

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Louie G. Key, 89, of Moulton will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Key died Thursday, August 3, 2000, at NHC Healthcare in Moulton. He was born April 1, 1911, in Morgan County to Archie Floyd Key and Essie Key. He was a retired farmer, former employee of Worthington Corporation and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Vernon Key of Trussville; and two sisters, Ruby Harris of Birmingham and Helen Hudson of Moody.
Members of Oak Ridge Baptist Church will be pallbearers.

MOULTON -- Funeral for Mary Jane Lansdell, 61, of Town Creek will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Burks and the Rev. Mike McCullough officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek with Elliott Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Lansdell died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1939, in Lawrence County to Paul and Artie Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Lansdell.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Lansdell, Dwight Lansdell, Mike Parker, Brandon Oliver, Tommy Slaton and Ray Campbell.

Mr. Mooney died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, in Garden City. He was born April 16, 1982, in Decatur. He was a 2000 graduate of Austin High School. He was the son of the late Loranda Kay White.
Survivors include his father, Perry Mooney of Decatur; his stepfather, James White of Hanceville; one brother, Clint Ronald Mooney of White City; one sister, Meagan Nicole Mooney of Decatur; and his grandparents, Whitman and Irma Mooney of Decatur and Iva Dee White of Garden City.

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Funeral for Lillie Mae Siniard, 74, of Lakeland was Tuesday at Lakeland Funeral Home with the Rev. Howell Jordan and the Rev. Hulen Harvill officiating. Burial was in Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Siniard died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Decatur to Robert Boyd Engle and Nannie Mae Pepper Engle. She had lived in Lakeland since 1958, where she retired as a supervisor of Morrison's Cafeteria. She was a member of Mount Enon Primitive Baptist Church. She was the sister of the late James Engle and the late Ruth Terry.
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey H. Siniard; one son, Roy B. Roper of Decatur; two daughters, Patricia Ann Haygood of Lakeland and Shirley J. Crisp of Polk City, Fla.; three stepsons, Charles R. Siniard of Leesburg, Fla., and Jerry H. Siniard and Andy H. Siniard, both of Lakeland; three stepdaughters, Evaline Vickers of Plant City, Fla., Aubrey M. Kriner of Kathleen, Fla., and Linda F. Harris of Winter Haven, Fla.; one brother, Robert E. Engle of Somerville; four sisters, Mary J. Gerstman of Hartselle, Minnie L. Nelms of Lakeland, Marguerite E. Mrs. Denson died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Falkville to Edward E. Francis and Mattie Howse Francis. She was retired from Davidson's Plumbing Co., where she worked as a secretary and receptionist. She was a 1929 graduate of Falkville High School. She was a member of First Christian Church for 72 years and a member of Christian Women's Fellowship.
Survivors include: two sons, Billy Culver and John Denson, both of Decatur; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Cole, Kenneth McCulloch, Don Steel, Lowell Stinson, Paul Stroud and Joe Summerford.

Mrs. Gilchrist died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at her home. She was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Morgan County to James Edwin Price II and Mary Julia Price . She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a World War II Army veteran. She was a retired employee of Hofstra University in New York and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Gilchrist of Decatur and John Gilchrist of Priceville; four daughters, Carolyn Mueller of North Babylon, N.Y., Robin Przepiora of Plymouth, Minn., and Marsha Kimbrell and Susan White, both of Decatur; one brother, Edwin Price of Ormond Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Frances Price and Elizabeth Kirby, both of Decatur and Tommie Kelly of Ben Hur, Va.; and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Humphries died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1923, in Morgan County to James Allen Humphries and Katie Sheats Humphries. He was a retired rural mail carrier.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Sandra Dial Hayes and Janice Garner, both of Decatur; two sisters, Novell Wynn of Cullman and Cleo Pruett of Hartselle; and seven step-grandchildren.

Mr. McNalley died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1920, in Morgan County to William Arthur McNalley and Sally Holmes McNalley. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Wolverine Tube. He was a member of Oak Park Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Effie Morgan McNalley; four daughters, Gay McNalley Barran, Katrina McNalley Hargrove, Mavis McNalley McKee and Dona McNalley Emens, all of Decatur; one brother, James Melvin McNalley of Decatur; three sisters, Ruth Houston of Tuscaloosa, Ruby Brown of Hartselle and Muriel Holmes of Falkville; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Robinson died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 25, 1918, in Morgan County to Henry Southern and Elsie Brown Southern. She was a homemaker and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She taught crafts at the Boys Club of Decatur. She also worked in the cafeteria at the Tuberculosis Sanitorium and volunteered in the health room at Brookhaven Middle School. She was formerly employed by Decatur Plastics.
Survivors include: her husband, W.P. "Bill" Robinson; two sons, Bobby Joe Robinson of Hartselle and William "Robby" Robinson of Decatur; one sister, Pauline Willoughby of Rittman, Ohio; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rogers died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at her home. She was born April 4, 1925, in Morgan County to Bert Guthrie and Gertrude Hanes Guthrie. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Maranatha Baptist Church, and the church treasurer and a Sunday school teacher for 25 years. She was the co-owner of River Fish Market for 40 years.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Rogers; two sons, William Rogers of Fayetteville., N.C., and James Rogers of Hillsboro; two daughters, Jean Sandlin and Nina Collier, both of Decatur; three brothers, J.D. Guthrie, Pulaski, Tenn., Oscar Guthrie of Florence, and Delmar Guthrie of Prescott, Ariz.; one sister, Opal Jackson of LaHarbra, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Taylor and Dennis Taylor, both of Athens; three daughters, Judy Bumpus of Somerville, Betty Jo Reeves of Rogersville and Vickie Persell of Athens; four sisters, Stella Roland, Pauline Layton, Lucille Scroggins and Eunice King, all of Athens; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
