Burial will be in Sanderson Cemetery in Lawrence County. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sanderson died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at Shoals Hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1915, in Lawrence County to W.C. Saint and Rosie Saint.
She was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Leighton United Methodist Church, Lida King Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women.
She was the widow of the Rev. Lee M. Sanderson and sister of the late R.J. Saint, Bobby Saint and Laura Jones. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Sanderson of Leighton and Larry Sanderson of Tuscumbia; one brother, Billy Saint of Jasper, Ga.; two sisters, Louise Beck of Courtland and Thelma Smith of Florence; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Sanderson, Derek Sanderson, Jeremy Sanderson, David Pollak, Franklin Beck, Randy Saint, Howard Saint and Ralph Saint.
Dr. William J. 'Bud' Bryan
72, retired veterinarian
Funeral for Dr. William J. "Bud" Bryan, 72, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Madison, the Rev. W.K. Stephenson and the Rev. Buddy Champion officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryan died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1928, in Birmingham to Dr. E.W. Bryan and Susie Anderson Bryan. He was a member of First Baptist Church for 43 years, and he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a graduate of the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced veterinary medicine in Decatur for 46 years before he retired. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Medical Corps. He was a member of the Decatur Rotary Club. He was the brother of the late Joyce B. Maples.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Bryan; one son, Dr. Norwood Bryan of Decatur; one daughter, Jane Bryan Lewis of Tallahassee, Fla.; two brothers, Pete A. Bryan of Annandale, Va., and John H. Bryan of Spartanburg, S.C.; three sisters, Mary B. Holland, Betty Craft, both of Athens, and Ann Siltanen of Decatur; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Ed Kirby, David Cauthen, James B. Odom, Dr. Charles Howell, Archie Hampton, John Braswell, David Pennington and Dr. Charles Ashwander.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Jesse Rogers Sunday school class.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Jerry Hall, 69, of Falkville will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Piney Grove Christian Church with Lindsey Herndon officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night at the church from 6 to 7:30.
Mr. Hall died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at Alvin C. York Veterans Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was born March 31, 1931, in Chatham, Virginia, to Floyd Kemper Hall and Lillian Murphy Hall. He retired from the United States Postal Service in Washington, D.C., as an accountant. He worked as a volunteer with Christian Service and with the Caring Place in Hartselle. He was a member of Piney Grove Christian Church and on the Hospitality House staff in Nashville. Mr. Hall was the brother of the late Marlene Billington.
Survivors include his wife, Jean H. Hall of Falkville; one son, Philip Alan Donovan of Waldorf, Md.; two daughters, Pamela D. Dunbar of Bowie, Md., and Patricia R. Edwards of Laurel, Md.; one sister, Hazel Meyers of Woodbridge, Va.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jones died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at Shoals Community Hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Lawrence County to Myrte Jones and Bessie Jones Worden.
He was a barber and brother of the late Carl Jones.
Survivors include his mother of Leighton; two sons, Dewey Jones Jr. of Moulton and Rodger Jones of Hartselle; one daughter, Shelia Jones Speakman of Decatur; one brother, Clayton Jones of Decatur; two sisters, Louise Shelton of Leighton and Etta Mae Terry of Tuscaloosa; and seven grandchildren.

FLORENCE -- Graveside service for Lonnie Jones Pettey, 74, of Florence will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Green view Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Eddie Garner officiating and Green view Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Pettey died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at home. He was born June 20, 1926, in Decatur to Lonnie James Pettey and Zelle Jones Pettey. He was a graduate of The University of North Alabama and retired as an accountant for Consolidated Aluminum. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. In retirement, he was a part-time bookkeeper for Safeplace. He was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Baker Pettey; three daughters, Monta Smith of Clearwater, Fla., June Goodson of St. Louis and Jane Pettey of Trinity; one sister, Wanda Pettey Safley of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and one grandson.
Family members will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Sunday School Class at Woodmont Baptist Church.

Ms. Agee died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Jan. 29, 1909, in Lawrence County to John D. Agee and Mae Smith Agee.
She retired from Hobart Laboratories in Chicago as a floor supervisor and had lived in Decatur for 26 years. She was a member of Christian Science Church and the widow of William Henry Peebles.
Survivors include three sons, James Howard Peebles of San Antonio, Kyle Donald Peebles of Decatur, and Stanley Peebles of Lemont, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Jeanette Vacarella of Rosemont, Ill.; one brother, John Agee of Houston; one sister, Marline Emmons of Port Townsend, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

William Hopkins Clements

Funeral for William Hopkins Clements, 70, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bellview Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Queen officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
Mr. Clements died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born March 14, 1930, in Morgan County to Ervin Raswell Clements and Myrta Entrekin Clements.
He was a retired barber and a member of Austinville First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force in 1951-52.
Survivors include: his wife, Cois T. Clements; two sons, Erwin Clements and Harry Hunter, both of Decatur; two daughters, Elizabeth Martin of Birmingham and Glynda Gandy of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Sara Vaughan of Hurst, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Fowler died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, in Lincoln County, Tenn.
He was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Morgan County to Henry Starling Fowler and Fannie Victoria Blevins Fowler. He was a retired farmer and a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Grace Bowling Fowler; three daughters, Jean Pittenger of Taft, Tenn., Brenda Bowers of Valhermoso Springs and Teresa White of Danville; one brother, Willis Fowler of Somerville; two sisters, Lucille Cobbs and Lorene Edmonson, both of Decatur; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Green hill died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence.
He was born Aug. 20, 1909, in Franklin County. He became a barber at 16 and was an active barber until his death. He retired from Union Carbide and was a cattle farmer. He was a past board member of Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home and served as a deacon and elder of Shady Grove Church of Christ and Antioch Church of Christ. He was the widower of Ella King Green hill, the father of the late Avis Bencil Green hill and the grandfather of the late Jody Ray Green hill.
Survivors include his wife, Marcile Appleton Green hill; two sons, Flavel Braxton Green hill and Tulon Ray Green hill, both of Killen; two daughters, Zula Mae Guinn of Russellville and Brenda Pettus of Lexington; one brother, R.C. Green hill of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; one sister, Una Mae Hester of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; six step-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.

Nancy Worth Jones Hiserodt
Nancy Worth Jones Hiserodt, 80, of Hiawassee, Ga., died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, in Hiawassee. She was born March 6, 1920, in Decatur to John W. Jones and Blanche Lide Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Hiserodt Jr.; three daughters, Rebecca Caddell and Penny Trammell, both of Decatur, and Worth Fischer of Birmingham; one sister, Caroline Jones Carter of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
