Mrs. Densmore died Sept. 20, 2000, at her home. She was born Feb. 19, 1913, in Morgan County to Johnny Clarence Childs and Cora Dixie McAnally Childs. She was a homemaker and a member of Ryan Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, John Densmore of Decatur; two daughters, Dona Herring of Arab and Dean Stone of Union Grove; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Densmore, Barry Densmore, Curtis Henderson Jr., Sherman Leeth, Eugene Childs and Billy Childs.

Mr. Hampton died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1918, in Lawrence County to Jim Hampton and Lou Borden Hampton. He was the widower of Nelsie Mae Hampton and was retired from Pullman Inc.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Smithey of Dallas; a half sister, Annie Mae Cain of Detroit, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service for infant Patrick DeShawn Jones, of Decatur will be Saturday at Bell Cemetery with the Rev. Leon Madden officiating and Sharpley Funeral Home directing.
The baby died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, the day of his birth, at Decatur General Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, LaTonia Jones of Decatur; one brother, Kendrick Denzel Jones of Decatur; and grandparents, John and Georgia Mosley of Decatur and Lawrence and Brenda Jones of Decatur.

Mrs. Ogle died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at Azalea Trace Health Facility in Pensacola. She was a charter member of Cotaco Literary Club, St. Paul's and the Lutheran Women's Mission League. She was widow of the late Coach H.L. "Shorty" Ogle and the daughter of the late Charles John Burkart and Emma A. Steifielmyer Burkhart.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Ogle of Orange Beach, and Hugh L. Ogle Jr. of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Sittason, John Braswell, Gene Lentz and Ralph Huff. Honorary pallbearers will be members of her husband's former football teams.

Mrs. Todd died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at National Health Care in Moulton. She was born Jan. 25, 1905, in Lawrence County. She was a homemaker, and a member of Courtland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, James E. Todd of Town Creek; one daughter, Louise Todd Terry of Courtland; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Great-grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 11, 1936, in Elkmont. She was a certified nurse's assistant at Limestone Health Facility and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Dixie Foster and Cheryl Stewart, both of Athens; three stepsons, C. A. Williams of Michigan, James Emmit Williams and Gano David Williams, both of Harrogate, Tenn.; three step-daughters, Reva Lou Coulter of Minor Hill, Tenn., Gwen McLemore of Tennessee and Wilma June Brooks of Virginia; three brothers, Charles Holt, David Holt and Layne Holt, all of Elkmont; four grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.

ATHENS -- Funeral for Eula Frank Pike Crafts, 84, of Athens will be today at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Steve Mosley and Billy McGregor officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Crafts died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born May 22, 1916, in Limestone County to Willie Frank Pike and Bessie Worthy Pike. A lifelong resident of Limestone County, she was a member of Corinth Church of Christ and retired as the head dietitian at East Limestone High School, where she worked for 35 years. She was the widow of Robert Victor Crafts, the mother of the late Robert Frank Crafts and the sister of the late Effie Balch, Clara Crafts, Lucille Hilliard, Lester Pike, T.J. Pike, J.D. Pike and Willie Wagnon.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas Pike of Athens; one sister, Rosetta Landers of Athens; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Campbell, David Pepper, Jimmy Bailey and Carl Persall.
Nephews and members of Corinth Church of Christ will be honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Fowler died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at his home. He was born Oct. 5, 1906, in Blount County to George D. Fowler and Sarah Sallie Stone Fowler. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle and worked for many years as a salesman at Stone Lumber Co. He was the widower of Elizabeth L. Fowler.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Nancy C. Garrett of Augusta, Ga.

Mr. Green died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Morgan County to Jessie C. Green and Ruth Estelle Oakes Green . He was a Baptist and retired from Chrysler Motors in Detroit, Mich. He was an avid music lover and built and played the dulcimer. He was a member of the Dulcimer Association and a former winner of the Athens Fiddlers' Convention. He was the father of the late Michael Green and the brother of the late Ellis Green .
Survivors include his wife, Faye Bennett Green ; two sons, Russell Allen Green Jr. of Decatur and Michael Lenahan Green of Sulkowski, Mich.; four daughters, Debbie McCutcheon of Lacey's Spring, Jenny Cannon of Albertville, Pamela Damron of Madison and Shelia Lenahan Sulkowski of East Pointe, Mich.; five sisters, Jessie Ruth Sturdivant of Hartselle, Delphene Miller of Decatur and Agnes Weeks, Joan Ozbolt and Bonnie Holmes, all of Eva; and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Griffin died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at his home. He was born March 18, 1926, in Limestone County. He was a disabled U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was the brother of the late Wilburn E. Griffin.
Survivors include one son, Billy Griffin of St. Louis; three daughters, Patricia Griffin of Huntsville, and Sharon Griffin and Marilyn Griffin, both of St. Louis; one brother, Tommy Griffin Jr. of Athens; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Self died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at his home. He was born June 27, 1933, in Morgan County to James Elbert Self and Edith Pauline Self. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and retired from Wolverine Tube after 23 years service.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Self; three sons, Tony Self of Franklin, Tenn., Dwain Self and Jonathan Self, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Anita Cook and Rita Green , both of Hartselle; one brother, Robert Self of Hartselle; six sisters, Idalene Singleton, Hazel Brown, Wilma Boger, Inez Borden and Edna White, all of Hartselle, and Eleanor Gouge of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Simmons died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at her home. She was born June 7, 1919, in Coffee County, Tenn., to Charles Overall and Ethel Mahaffa Overall. A resident of Decatur since 1934, she attended Third Ward School, Gordon-Bibb School, Central High School and Riverside High School. She worked in the weaving department at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and at the Dianne Shop, Gibson's Discount Center and W.T. Grant Co. She was a Sunday school teacher at East End United Methodist Church, where she had been a member since 1952. She was the widow of Charles Earl Simmons.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynda McAbee of Priceville; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Patrick McAbee, Rodney McAbee, Lawrence Wade, Edsel Hardin, Cecil Gaston and Harold Key.
