Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
The infant died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Jan. 12, 2000, in Morgan County to Bobby Gene Stafford and Stephanie Ann Cantrell.
Survivors include his parents of Hartselle; one brother, Keith Dale Cantrell of Sheffield; one sister, Kimberly Roberts of Spring Valley; his grandmother, Bessie Stafford of Hartselle; and his grandfather, Stanley Davis of Tuscumbia.
Pallbearers will be Junior Borden, Vernon Reeves, Chuck Stafford and Mickey Thomas.
Maxine C. Vest

Funeral for Maxine C. Vest, 47, of Hartselle will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Funeral Home with Church of God Bishop Bobby L. Morgan, the Rev. Jerry Grimes and the Rev. Pat Lawrence officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vest, who was human resources manager at Friskies Pet Care Co., died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at her home. She was born July 19, 1953, to William Melvin Crow and Mildred Wood Crow. She was a member of South Decatur Church of God. She attended Calhoun Community College, where she was listed in Who's Who in Junior Colleges in America and earned honors in Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society for two-year colleges. She then transferred to Athens State University, where she was inducted into Delta Mu Delta, an honor society for business students. She was named the top human resources management student. She graduated summa cum laude. She was active in the Society of Human Resource Management and served on the society's Board of Governors. She also served as a loaned executive for United Way of Morgan County and in Partners in Education.
Survivors include her husband, Howard R. Vest; two sons, Bobby Matthew Atchley and William Wesley Atchley, both of Pulaski, Tenn.; her mother, Mildred W. Crow of Moulton; two sisters, Shelby C. Smith and Patricia C. Blackwood, both of Moulton; three stepsons, Howard Jonathan Vest of Decatur, Howard Joseph Vest of Priceville and Paul Bradley Vest of Banner Elk, N.C.; and five granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Ray Walker, Don Minor, Ben Roper, L.D. Keeton, J.C. Brannon, Ray Johnson, Chet Ellis and Robert Stephenson.

ATHENS -- Graveside service for Lifus Aaron Allen, 93, of Athens was to be today at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Donald Vickers officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Allen died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Limestone Health Facility. He was born July 3, 1907, in Limestone County. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ. He was the husband of the late Mary Louise Allen and the father of the late Charles Thomas Allen.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas D. Allen and Rudolph Allen, both of Athens; three daughters, Barbara Wales of Athens, Norma Prater of Vernon and Carolyn Moore of Ardmore; one sister, Lovema Clem of Athens; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The infant was born and died Oct. 24, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include the parents, Nashiea Lynette DeBerry of Decatur and LeRoy Shane Woodall of Jackson, Miss.; one brother, Brendon Lee DeBerry of Decatur; his grandparents, Richard DeBerry and Sareta Alexander, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; and his great-grandmother, Brenda Young of Hartselle.

Mrs. Driver died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at her residence. She was born Sept. 22, 1915, in Cullman County to James Franklin Long and Hanna Minnie Woodard Long. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hartselle and a homemaker. She was the widow of Richard Driver and sister of the late, Oscar Long, Lionel Long, Collier Long, Tommie Knight and Ruth Knight.
Survivors include one brother, the Rev. James O. Long of Hartselle; and two sisters, Willie Smith of Texas, and Ethel Miller of Baileyton.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
Rose Sharp Jackson

BIRMINGHAM -- Graveside service for Rose Sharp Jackson, 88, of Birmingham will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Cullman City Cemetery with the Rev. Elmer Neilson officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5:30 to 7 at Ridout's-Brown Service Funeral Home in Trussville.
Mrs. Jackson died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at her home. She was born March 21, 1912, in Alabama to David Preston Sharp and Katie Morrow Sharp of Decatur. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerpoint and the widow of William C. Jackson. She and her husband owned a shoe-repair business in Birmingham until they retired.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Osborne of Birmingham; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mahan died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at her home. She was born May 7, 1913, in Americus, Ga., to Allen Davis Cooper and Virginia Achord Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of Lacey's Spring United Methodist Church. She was the widow of William Hobson Mahan Sr. and the mother of the late Dan Mahan and the late Jo Ann Mahan.
Survivors include three sons, William Mahan Jr., Joe Mahan and Jim Mahan, all of Lacey's Spring; one daughter, Judy Hurley of Memphis; two brothers, Frank Cooper of Tallassee and Bud Cooper of Huntsville; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Randle died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living Center. She was born June 19, 1918, in Goodsprings to John Luke Perry and Minnie Ethel Sanford Perry. She attended Athens State Area Vocational School and graduated in the first licensed practical nursing class. She worked at Epperson Hospital, Athens Regional Medical Center, Superior Home Health and National Health Care Nursing Home in Athens and Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami. She was a resident of Athens, Tenn., since 1954 and a former resident of Mobile and Tuscaloosa. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was a member of Athens First Baptist Church. She was the widow of E.P. Randle, to whom she was married 43 years.
Survivors include two sons, John P. Randle and Glenn Perry Randle, both of Athens, Tenn.; three daughters, Patricia Ann Richardson of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mary Sue Kennedy and Diane Randle, both of Decatur; one brother, Lambert Perry of Roswell, Ga.; one sister, Nell Dalton of Goodsprings; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church and later moved her membership to St. Stephens Primitive Baptist Church. She was a member of the Brothers and Sisters Auxiliary, Choir No. 1 and a tribe leader in Sunday school. She was the widow of Willie Jake Raybon Sr. and was a homemaker.,
Survivors include five daughters, Deborah Miller and Masinah Trimuel, both of Huntsville, Myra Malone and Ruth Burt, both of Decatur, and Ollie D. Richardson of Tuscumbia; one sister, Annie Ruth Garner of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grand children.

Mr. Taylor died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1921, in Morgan County to Ruben Taylor and Nancy Ford Taylor. He retired as a laborer at Buettner Brothers. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Ruth Childers Taylor; one son, James Lowell Taylor of Eva; two daughters, Becky Bennett and Claudette Taylor, both of Eva; three sisters, Wynell Woodall of Eva, Orlean Knighten of Decatur and Maybell West of Cullman; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Miss. Wiggington died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at her home. She was born May 14, 1921, in Limestone County to Walter Wiggington and Nona Garlin Wiggington. She attended First Christian Church in Hartselle and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one niece, Shirley Wiley of Hartselle; one great-niece, Debbie Walker of Hartselle; and one great-great-nephew, Chance Walker of Hartselle.

Mr. Worthey died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at his home. He was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Limestone County. He was the retired owner and operator of John's Antiques. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Priceville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Opal June Worthey; one daughter, Lisa W. Smith of Hartselle; two brothers, Joe Worthey of Decatur and Clayton Worthey of Capshaw; one sister, Alberta Humphrey of Madison; and one grandson.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
