Mr. Speegle died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. He was born Aug. 6, 1958, in Morgan County to the late Ralph Charles Speegle and Martha White Speegle. He was a Baptist and a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Fran Speegle; four sons, Justin Speegle of Hartselle, Andrew Weaks of Danville, and Derek Weaks and Jason Bembry, both of Bradenton, Fla.; his mother of Hartselle; one brother, Brad Speegle of Hartselle; two sisters, Vicky Sharrott of Hartselle and Jenny LaFavor of Seattle; and four grandchildren.

Powell and the sister of the late Avis Manly, Ora Houchens and Carl Cooper.

He was a member of Gandy's Cove Methodist Church and worked at the Alabama Hosiery Mill in Decatur until it closed. He was a retired farmer and U.S. postal clerk.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Poole; one son, Chris Poole of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Hogan and Linda Holmes, both of Falkville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Stone died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at his home. He was born March 5, 1909, in Kentucky. He was a retired insurance company owner and a medic in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Mrs. Wallace died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Montclair Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born April 3, 1943, in Lawrence County to James Louie Waldrop and Doris Little Waldrop. She was a retired social worker with the Lawrence County Department of Human Resources and a member of First United Methodist Church in Moulton.
Survivors include her husband, Waymon Wallace; one son, Wesley Wallace of Decatur; one daughter, Melissa Wallace Williams of Decatur; one brother, Jimmy Waldrop of Moulton; and one grandson.
Pallbearers will be Brent White, Farol Little, Scott Stone, Harry Montgomery, Phillip Reich, Scott Sanderson and Dale Little.
