Mr. Via died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born April 11, 1952, in Cullman County to Harrie Nell Via Weaver. He was a member of Bell Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Via; three stepsons, Billy Walker and Mark Walker, both of Hartselle, and Garry Walker of Danville; his mother; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Williams Jr., Cecil Williams, Clyde Walker, Randall Lewis, Brian Hanson and Lynn Lindsey.

Mrs. Bailey died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at her home. She was born June 10, 1927, in Limestone County to Jesse Leon Goff and Annie Lexie Smith Goff. She was a homemaker and a member of Sardis Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Bailey; and three brothers, Robert Goff, Dillard Goff and Larry Goff, all of Athens.

Mrs. Eckhardt died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at her home. She was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Mayo, S.C., to James Henry Petty and Francis Jane Parris Petty. She was the widow of Robert Arthur Eckhardt. She attended First Independent Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Eckhardt of Parker, Colo., and Jimmy Eckhardt of Decatur; five daughters, Barbara Linden of Trinity, Mary Jane Brooks and Nancy Blankenship, both of Athens, Sara Thomas of Destin, Fla., and Tracy Riggs of Hartselle; two brothers, J.L. Petty and Otha Petty, both of Inman, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sivley died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1947, in Morgan County to Golden Osmon Sivley and Ruth Ernestine Blaylock Sivley. He was a machine operator at Delphi Saginaw Automotive Systems and an employee of General Motors in Michigan for 26 years. He was a member of Decatur Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sivley; one son, Kevin Sivley of Decatur; one daughter, Tami Sivley of Decatur; three brothers, Edward Sivley of Brooksville, William Sivley of Clinton Township, Mich., and Johnny Sivley of Hartselle; and five sisters, Doris Abernathy of Morris, Jean Finley of Decatur, Bobby Anderson of Tanner, Mary Sanders of Forth Worth, Texas, and Linda Ricks of Hartselle.

Mrs. Troup died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 12, 1912, in Sheffield to John Maloney Sr. and Annie Adams Maloney. She retired as a civil service employee from Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal and was the first secretary/treasurer of the Decatur City Council PTA Board. She was a member of Grant Street Church of Christ and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Survivors include one son, Orey N. Troup Jr. of Decatur; two daughters, Adah Jervis of Decatur and Barbara Clyce of Birmingham; one sister, Louise Brewer of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

HARTSELLE -- Arthur Theodore Wibom Jr., 77, of Hartselle died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center.
He was born April 12, 1923 in White Plains, N.Y. He was a World War II Army veteran, receiving the Good Conduct medal, a Victory medal and an American Service medal. After being honorably discharged from the Army on Feb. 28, 1946, he continued his career with the Federal Aviation Administration until he retired in 1982.
Survivors include one sister, Virginia Hirschenbaum of Port Richey, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Alexander died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Lawrence County, to Guy Alexander and Lou Ellen Alexander. He retired as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
