Mrs. Cole died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1913, in Virginia to Samuel Boyd and Lousia Blankenship Boyd. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holiness Faith. She was the sister of the late Noah Boyd, Frank Boyd, Hiram Boyd, Sarah Sparks and Cindy McGlothin.
Survivors include two sons, Andy Mitchell of Somerville and Otto Mitchell of Radford, Va.; two daughters, Frances Adams of Somerville and Flora Mable Brown of Menita, Va.; one sister, Nellie Corns of Honaker, Va.; two half-brothers, Lincous Blankenship of Raven, Va., and Acie Blankenship of Marion, Va.; one half-sister, Marie Horn of Raven, Va.; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Doris Stovall Gill
Funeral for Doris Stovall Gill, 71, of Decatur, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home with the Rev. Cary Orr officiating.
Burial will be in Davis Cemetery in Hillsboro. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gill died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Hillsboro and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Flint, Mich.
Survivors include two brothers, John N. Davis of Hillsboro and Marvin W. Davis of Decatur; and two sisters, Margaret Williams and Thelma Davis, both of Atlanta, Ga.

MOULTON -- Funeral for Joel Dee Letson, 57, of Moulton will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Terry, the Rev. Ron Metzger and the Rev. B.H. Hale officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be in the church one hour before the service.
Mr. Letson died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1943, in Lawrence County to Joseph Putnum Letson and Maggie L. Letson. He was retired as a process-engineering specialist from 3M Corp. He was a trustee at Liberty United Methodist Church, where he also served as a Sunday school teacher, superintendent and chairman of the board.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Janice Owen Letson; two sons, Keith Letson and Kevin Letson, both of Moulton; one daughter, Kimberly L. Dutton of Moulton; two sisters, Lois Harville of Moulton and Doris Henson of Bowling Green , Ky.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Nelson, Phillip Harville, Judge Richard I. "Rip" Proctor, David Bunell, Don Beauchamp, Lee Sandlin, Jimmy Glenn and Daryl Hunter.
Members of Moulton Sports Youth will be honorary pallbearers.

ALBANY, Ga. -- Ida M. Mock, 65, of Sylvester, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at her residence. A private memorial service will be held later.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 until 8:30 at her residence on 474 Mock Rd., Sylvester.
Mrs. Mock was born Dec. 13, 1934, in Richmond, Va., to James L. Mays and Byrd G. Mays. She moved to Albany, Ga. in 1947 and graduated from Albany High School in 1953. She attended Mary Washington College, the University of Virginia and the University of Georgia. She moved to Worth County, Ga., where she lived until her death. She was a homemaker and member of Pinson United Methodist Church. Survivors include her mother of Sylvester; two daughters, Leslie Norton of Macon, Ga. and Landra Godfrey of Sylvester; one sister, Landra Jones of Hartselle; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Rogers died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Birmingham to Lonnie Black and Lois Morris Black. She was retired from Austinville Elementary School and was a member of Austinville Baptist Church. She was the widow of Herman B. Rogers.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Nell Hudgins of Decatur; five brothers, L. Greer Black, Morris C. Black and Joe Black, all of Decatur, the Rev. John Otha Black of Montgomery and Dr. L. Gene Black of Birmingham; one sister, Mary B. Houston of Sarasota, Fla.; four granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

The baby died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. He was born Aug. 13, 2000, in Birmingham. He was the grandson of the late Denoris Warren and the late Julia Mae Collier.

Mr. Kamphouse died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born March 11, 1938, in New Jersey to John Henry Kamphouse and Elizabeth VanMaanen Kamphouse. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. He was the dean of Bethel Bible College. He earned a doctoral degree in sacred theology and religion from Bethany Seminary in Dothan. He was a retired Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant nuclear engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Sue Kamphouse; two sons, John Matthew Kamphouse and Christopher Kamphouse, both of Decatur; one brother, Robert David Kamphouse of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
Deacons of Bethel Baptist Church will be pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Montgomery died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, at Medical Center East in Birmingham. She was born Oct. 20, 1914, in Lawrence County to Henry Dutton and Ninnie Hamby Dutton. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church of Town Creek. She was the widow of Tommy Montgomery and the mother of the late Marie Hughes and the late Carlos Montgomery.
Survivors include three sons, Lamon Montgomery of Hartford, Mich., Wallace Montgomery of Town Creek and Ollis Montgomery of Courtland; three daughters, Judy Strickland of Ozark, Anna Devaney of Grayson and Veletia Terry of Moulton; and one brother, Luther Dutton of Moulton.

Mr. Newton died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. He was born June 28, 1946, in Alabama. He was a truck driver for Burris Trucking Co. He was the son of the late Arthur Porter Newton.

Mr. Yelton died Sunday, Dec. 3. 2000, at McDowell Hospital. He was born June 13, 1914, in Rutherford County, N.C., to Edgar Yelton and Effie Smawley Yelton. He retired after 10 years in the research department of Monsanto in Decatur, now Solutia Inc., to his cattle farm. He was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church and was active in the Republican Party. He was the widower of Pearl Puett Yelton.
Survivors include three brothers, Blaine Yelton of Charleston, S.C., Howard Yelton of Spindale, N.C., and Calvin Yelton of Morganton, N.C.; and one sister, Betty Yelton of Boone, N.C.

She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and Florence Golf and Country Club. She was a board member and past rules chairman of the Women's Alabama Golf Association. She was the widow of Edwin S. Bryan.

Mr. Cornelison died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home in Madison. He was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Jackson County. He taught agri-business at Ardmore High School for 30 years and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of the Lion's Club.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Cornelison; five sons, Steve Cornelison of Uriah, Gary Cornelison of Centralia, Mo., Dwayne Cornelison of Elkton, Tenn., and Ronny Cornelison and Donnie Cornelison, both of Ardmore; two daughters, Janine Cornelison and Freda Mullins, both of Ardmore; one brother, Tom Cornelison of Huntsville; two sisters, Vera Harmening of Huntsville and Jeanette Limbaugh of Birmingham; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
