Funeral for Kenneth Ray Hammon, 67, of Decatur will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Central Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Carlisle officiating.
Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hammon died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1932, in Morgan County to James Daniel Hammon and Lonnie Bell Williams Hammon. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, and co-owner of Hammon Electric Co., which he founded in 1960. He served on the Decatur Board of Construction for more than 20 years and was appointed by former Gov. George C. Wallace as a charter member of the Alabama Electrical Contracting Board, where he was instrumental in establishing the first statewide rules and regulations governing the electrical industry. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 29. He was also a founder and charter member of the Alabama State Troopers Auxiliary. He was the brother of the late James Hammon, John D. Hammon, Keith Carl Hammon, Ollie Moore, Dorothy Ratcliff, Gladys Wallace and Hellon Simms.
Survivors include his wife, Noma Fay Hammon; two sons, Ricky Hammon and Micky Hammon, both of Decatur; one daughter, Cindy Bunch of Decatur; two brothers, Eugene Hammon and Connie Hammon, both of Decatur; one sister, Stella Livingston; and seven grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
Frances Green Parker
83, Monsanto retiree
Funeral for Frances Green Parker, 83, of Decatur, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Brock officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at NHC in Moulton. She was born Jan. 16, 1917, to John H. Green and Mabel Blackwell Green . She was a graduate of the University of Montevallo and worked as a librarian and secretary. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She retired from Monsanto in 1981. She was the widow of Fred H. Parker.
Survivors include one brother, John H. Green of Brecksville, Ohio; three sisters, Mickey Hix of Etowah, N.C., and Sylvia Jones and Glenn Ingouf, both of Decatur; two stepsons, Cordray Parker and Howard Parker, both of Birmingham; one stepdaughter, Ann White of Port St. Joe, Fla.; six step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Max Patterson, Buddy Landers, Herman Marks, Russell Smith, Calvin Underwood and Harry Maiden.

Marvaline Andrew Roan

Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roan died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1911, in Morgan County to Macie Albert Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Oden Andrew. She was a 72-year member of Southside Baptist Church. She retired from Albany Coal and Grain Co. after more than 25 years of service0 and was a hostess at Southside Baptist Church for 15 years. She directed and catered 915 weddings. She was the widow of Emmett Yancey Roan.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Virginia Roan of Decatur; and one sister, Veloreese Andrew Harper of LaGrange, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Harold Holland, Lavonis Bryan, David Hokett, Richard Batchelor, Arnold Terry, R.C. Wilson and Jimmy Hayes.

Mrs. Jones died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Marshall Medical Center North. She was born Oct. 24, 1905, in Marshall County to George Densmore and Lue Brown Densmore. She was a homemaker and a member of Ryan Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in the Ryan community. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, making crafts and crocheting. She was the widow of Charlie Jones, the mother of the late Juanita Jones and the sister of the late Albert Densmore, Elijah Densmore and Alfred Densmore.
Survivors include one daughter, Fay Putnam of Union Grove; two brothers, Carson Densmore of Decatur and Acie Densmore of Ryan; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. McKinney died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at his home. He was born May 16, 1935, in Limestone County to Freddie McKinney and Pearlie White McKinney. He was a retired carpenter and heavy equipment operator, and a member of Evans Road Church of Christ, where he preached for 15 years. He was the father of the late Melissa McKinney.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara McKinney; one son, James Bradley McKinney of Athens; four daughters, Donna Turner, Sharon Mason and Marie McKinney, all of Athens, and Michelle White of Creedville, S.C.; one brother, Billy McKinney of Valley Head; one sister, Kathy Zavodny of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Burgreen died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at her home. She was born March 1, 1915, to James Elledge and Holly Percy Fike Elledge in Limestone County, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and a member of Parker Chapel United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Thomas V. Burgreen.
Survivors include one son, Gene Burgreen of Madison; two daughters, DeWanda Black of Madison and Linda Haney of Athens; one sister, Anna Starnes of Arab; five grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Marion died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at St. Thomas Hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Hartselle to Henry T. Marion Sr. and Eula Williams Marion. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific during World War II and retired from Seaboard Systems Railroad. He was a member of Bellevue Church of Christ. He was the widower of Sara Frances Marion.
Survivors include one sister, Flora Waits of Hartselle.

Mr. McKinney died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. He was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Lauderdale County to Charlie McKinney and Mary Ervin McKinney. He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include two brothers, Johnney McKinney of Rogersville and Charles McKinney of Florence; and one sister, Margaret Goode of Rogersville.
