Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roberson died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1914, in Limestone County to Homer M. Miller and Mary Lou Evans Miller. She retired as a beautician and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Charles R. "Red" Roberson.
Survivors include one sister, Mildred Green of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Gilbert Thrasher, Dennis Briley, Wilson Morgan, Ronald Terry, Frank Chenault and Malcom Schrimsher.

HARTSELLE -- Graveside service for Sarah Evelyn Shadden, 77, of Massey will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Reeves and the Rev. Steve Dutton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Shadden died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at a son's home in Massey. She was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Morgan County to Clarence McCullough and Elizabeth Holt McCullough. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Henry Shadden; three sons, Jimmy Shadden, Steve Shadden and Richard Shadden, all of Massey; five daughters, Mary Blair of Hartselle, Barbara Maples of Massey, Tracy Tidwell of Double Springs, Shelia Koch of Atlanta and Gracie Nicholson of Eva; two brothers, J.C. McCullough of Florida and Edward McCullough of Mobile; one sister, Ida Hughes of Mobile; 22 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.

The infant died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Warren and Jennifer Wise of Hartselle; two brothers, Cody Atchley and Lane Atchley, both of Hartselle; and his grandparents, Frankie and Joyce Kirkpatrick of Hartselle and Bill and Jan Baldwin of Falkville.

Mr. Barber died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Morgan County to Charlie Barber and Hassley Barber. He was a retired painter.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Barber of New Orleans and Roger Barber of Decatur; one daughter, Rhonda Barber of Decatur; one sister, Birdie Breeding of Decatur; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Blackerby died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at his home. He was born Jan. 17, 1941, in Talladega County to John Tale Blackerby and Onzell Eubanks Blackerby.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a Baptist. He lived in Atlanta most of his life and was a resident of Decatur for the past four years.
Survivors include one son, John Blackerby of Hampton, Ga.; one daughter, Shelia Vise of Moulton; three brothers, Huey Blackerby of Piedmont, and Jack Blackerby and William Blackerby, both of Lincoln; and two grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Glenn; one son, Rex Glenn; four daughters, Becky Williams, Ruth Johnson and Katharine Moreau, all of Decatur, and Teresa Stokes of Birmingham; two brothers, Lavon Burchell of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jim Burchell of Lafayette, Ind.; three sisters, Bell Ayers and Virginia Kelso, both of Decatur, and Joyce Macey of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was Miss Decatur of 1930. She was retired from the Mobile County Board of Education, where she was a secretary. She was a lifetime member of the Baptist church. She was the widow of Clarence David Lamon Sr.

Mr. Bowers died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1903, in Limestone County. He was a retired housepainter and a member of the Mount Zion Church of Christ. He was the widower of Cecile Bowers.

Mr. Bowling died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham. He was born Jan. 25, 1944, in Morgan County to Frank B. Bowling and Ruby Lawrence Bowling. He was a member of Flint Baptist Church and was retired from Wolverine Tube Inc. after 35 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1961 to 1965.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Bowling; two daughters, Theresa Ragland and Marcia Bowling, both of Decatur; two brothers, Larry Bowling and Ray Bowling, both of Hartselle; four sisters, Reba Carden, Shirley Holt and Carol Ryan, all of Decatur, and Betty Howell of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Survivors include one son, Terry Lee Brooks Jr. of Athens; two brothers, Tracy Brooks of Athens and Johnny Brooks of Harvest; three sisters, Ann Brooks Tidwell of Elkmont, Aleisa Pettie-Holman and Deborah Rouse, both of Athens.
