Mrs. Oaks died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at her home. She was born Aug. 7, 1915, in Blount County to George B. Kelley and Minnie Carter Kelley. She was a homemaker and a member of Etha Baptist Church. She was the sister of the late Curtis Kelley and the late Hazel Johnston.
Survivors include three daughters, Louise Avery of Huntsville, Arnita Abney of Raleigh, N.C., and Dianne Patton of Eva; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Lucille Wood Thompson, 84, of Hartselle will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Wilson, the Rev. Earl Hole and the Rev. Cecil Berry officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at Emerald Hodgon Hospital in Sewanee, Tenn. She was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Clay County to Mack Wood and Mattie Miller Wood. She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Duel Thompson.
Survivors include one son, Kenny Thompson of Hartselle; and one grandson, Ashley Thompson of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be Tony Jones, Bill Wood, Bob Wood, Mitch Owens, Mike Screws and Eric Thompson.

MOULTON -- Funeral for Mildred Lanier Wilkerson, 83, of Weatherford, Texas, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Chalybeate Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Pullen officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Wilkerson died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born June 27, 1917, in Limestone County to Herbert Morris and Carrie Moss Morris. She was a longtime resident of Lawrence County and a retired nurse. She had resided in the Fort Worth area the past two years. She was a member of Chalybeate Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Gweneva West of Weatherford, Texas, Martha Coffey of Decatur and Connie Lanier of Trinity; one stepdaughter, Georgia Clark of Blytheville, Ark.; one sister, Louise Cunningham of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lawler died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in Madison. He was born June 21, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to Gerald Lindsay Lawler and Sue Williams Lawler. He attended Tanner High School and worked as an auto mechanic with his family business, Lawler Automotive.
Survivors include his father and one sister, Monica Lawler of Tanner.

Funeral for Willie Ann Miller, 76, of Hillsboro will be Thursday at noon at Ebenezer Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating and Reynolds Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Penny Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Miller died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, in Hillsboro. She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Lawrence County to Willie Jackson and Mattie Elliott Jackson. She was a member of Ebenezer Christian Church, where she served on the Stewards Board and was president of the Senior Usher Board and clerk of the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Clay of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Bankhead, Lawrence Davis III, Tom Love, Ruben Bankhead Jr., Glen Hill, and James Perkins.
Grandsons will be honorary pallbearers.

Funeral for Harry Fulmer, 87, of Oxnard, Calif., formerly of Decatur, will be at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Oxnard with Shelton Funeral Home handling local arrangements.
Burial will be in Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in California. Memorial Mass will be at a future date at St. Ann Catholic Church in Decatur.
Mr. Fulmer died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at his home. He was born March 10, 1913, in New Castle to William Patrick Fulmer and Ola Bailey Fulmer. He was a member of Santa Clara Catholic Church in Oxnard and a former insurance salesman for Liberty National Life Insurance.
Survivors include his wife, Zerefie Sherman Fulmer; one son, Charles Fulmer of Oxnard; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one brother, D.C. Whitt of Waynesboro, Tenn.; and one grandson, Jon David McAnally of Decatur.

Mr. Lowery died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born March 20, 1944, in Lawrence County to Henry Lowery and Wilma Hill Lowery. He was a machinist at John Blue Co. and was a member of Harmony Grove Church, where he was assistant teacher of the senior adult class. He was a leader of prison ministry at Limestone Correctional Facility.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Dean Lowery; two stepsons, Gilbert Sparks of Athens and Jeffrey Sparks of Danville; one stepdaughter, Rita Clemons of Hartselle; his father of Danville; two brothers, Mike Lowery and David Lowery, both of Decatur; two sisters, Virginia Terry of Hartselle and Debra Hornbuckle of Danville; and six step-grandchildren.
